Bishop Vincke has composed a pastoral letter on the importance of attending Sunday Mass. As recently stated in his monthly e-news, the Dispensation from the Obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation was lifted beginning with the Solemnity of Pentecost on the weekend of May 22nd -23rd. We hope you take the time to listen to his pastoral letter!

Prayer for the Return of Non-Practicing Catholics: O Good Shepherd, you never cease to seek out the lost, to call home the stray, to comfort the frightened and to build up the wounded. I ask you to bring them back to the practice of the faith and to remove all obstacles that prevent them from receiving your abundant mercy, which flows sacramentally through the heart of your holy Church. Through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God, St. Joseph, their Guardian Angels, their patron saints and the ever prayerful St. Monica, may you pardon their sins and unshackle them from whatever hinders their freedom to come home. For you, O Good Shepherd, have loved us to the end and offered yourself to the Father for the salvation of all. Amen!

In today's episode we will be praying the Glorious mysteries! The Rosary is a centuries-old prayer rooted in meditating on specific moments of the life of Jesus Christ. The Rosary provides the universal Church with a method of continuously calling out with hope to God, through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God.
There are four different "sets" of mysteries of the Rosary, typically prayed on different days. In today's episode Bishop Vincke leads us in the Glorious Mysteries, which are said on Sunday and Wednesday. The Glorious Mysteries are the Resurrection, Ascension, Descent of the Holy Spirit, Assumption of Mary, and the Coronation of Mary. Each of these Mysteries are based on Scripture.
