What’s up, everyone! In case you missed the announcement on our socials a couple of weeks back, we’re going to be taking an indefinite hiatus from the podcast. Before we flitter off into the void, we have two more episodes to share with you. This is the second to last episode we recorded around Halloween 2022; the final one was recorded around Thanksgiving and will be released in about a month. There might be a time in the future when we return for a one-off episode or two, but we have no concrete plans (if Creed reunites, we’ll consider it).
In this penultimate episode, we cover releases from Marigold King and Drumcorps to Crippling Alcoholism and Cloud Rat. Cacophonous black metal, aggressively mellow noise rock, cybernetic hyperdeath, and emotive grindpunk are but a few of the genres explored.
Bands/artists covered in this episode include Blattaria, fleshwater, SkyThala, Liturgy, Oozing Wound, Gatekeeper, Mourning, Putrescine, Kosmogyr, Fucked Up, ZOMBIESHARK!, Marigold King, Swampworm, Daniel Patrick Cohen, Drumcorps, The God Awful Truth, Under the Pier, Crippling Alcoholism, Polywhy, Winterquilt, Stormruler, Fat Randy, Cloud Rat, Nostalghia, and others.

Bands/artists covered in this episode include Machine Music (compilation), REZN, Osi and The Jupiter, Elder, Mindforce, Chrome Ghost, Wipes, Adzes, Universally Estranged, Dream Unending, Dregahir, Heksebrann, KFC Murder Chicks, Lymphatic Phlegm, The Bug, Зло, God Mother, The Callous Daoboys, Sunflo'er, Dale Kerrigan, Pilori, and others.

'ello, fellow vacuum drifters! We hope you're all doing well. Here we are yet again with another episode chock full of word waffling. As you might expect, much of the material we cover in this one is "dated" in internet terms, but we hope a gem or two you might have overlooked these past few months lurks within.
The releases covered range from noir black metallers White Ward and partycorers Steaksauce Mustache to nature-steeped dungeon synth and berserk mathcore. Connor yammers on about becoming primordial space goop and repeats one too many soundbites from a Counting Crows tune. There's a whole armada of non-sense to wade through. Below you can peruse the entire list of material we blather about. Timestamps are provided for each single, EP, or album, in case you want to jump to any particular segment of the conversation.
Bands/artists discussed in this episode include Drain, ZOMBIESHARK!, Psycroptic, White Ward, Saor, Mutually Assured Destruction, WAKE, Candy, Imperial Triumphant, In-Between, Warthog, Virgin Mother, Trǫlláss, Ghoulmire, Alkilith, Moonshield, Eight Bells, Greyhaven, Pyrithe, Black Matter Device, Steaksauce Mustache, and many others.

Salutations, sluddites! We hope you’re all keeping well. Our respective schedules have become a bit complicated these past several weeks, which rendered our output of rambles sluggish. After this episode, we should be back to normal form (we already have a new one recorded).
In this episode, we talk about a bundle of releases, many of which are “dated” by internet standards (you’ll see what we mean when you scroll further down). Regardless of that aspect, we cover an assorted array of frequencies that are meditative and droning, hammering and technical, emotive, bedraggled, and soaring. You can find all of the artists we chat about, in roughly chronological order, in the list down below.
If you have some artists, albums, singles, or any other form of musical media you’d like us to consider for an upcoming episode, please feel free to send us an email or reach out at one of our various social media channels. Thank you all so much for tuning in!

Ay, slime writhers. We hope you’re all well. It’s been about a month since our last podcast episode. Though we broke our promise on keeping the episode output to a new one every three weeks, I was in the middle of a home move, which made it difficult to find time to slice this episode’s audio up. Fortunately, we already have another episode recorded (and a new one that will be recorded in the next week or so), so anticipate our schedule to resume unabated.
With that out of the way, this iteration is chock-full of debuts. Be it EPs or full albums, we cover an extensive array of tones, from stomping and melodic metalcore to unhinged, brutal “free jazz”. Black metal is abundant and diverse, reaching corners that harbor circus music, creeping atmospheres, and soul. The death metal here is spacey, excoriating, and abhorrent. We also noticed that many artists featured on this one synthesize a smattering of genres together, which inadvertently catapulted our word slop into echelons unfathomable. You can find all of the artists we chat about, in roughly chronological order, in the list down below.
If you have some artists, albums, singles, or any other form of musical media you’d like us to consider for an upcoming episode, please feel free to send us an email or reach out at one of our various social media channels. In a couple of weeks’ time, there will a new “Reviews and Other Rambles” episode that covers even more artists than we do in this episode. Thank you all so much for your continued support!
Bands/artists discussed in this episode include Pupil Slicer, Aerial Ruin, Burst Synapse, Greyhaven, Black Matter Device, Ithaca, Almanac Man, Talsur, YRRE, Norskald, Scud, Tantric Bile, Cow Humps, Genghis Tron, Jarhead Fertilizer, She Said Destroy, Spors, Pensées Nocturnes, Rolo Tomassi, Chalk Hands, Zeal and Ardor, and many more.
