Okay, I’ll admit it—Friendquencyy might be made Look, I know Friendquencyy is geared toward women, but I’m just over here in my Hellcat vibing right along with Imani and Ashley like I’m their straight male homeboy! These two are the real deal. Their friendship jumps right through the speakers—raw, relatable, and ridiculously funny. Imani and Ashley keep it vulnerable without turning it into a therapy session (though let’s be real, I’ve walked away with some solid life gems—fellas, tap in). And everything they say flows so naturally—it’s organic without ever feeling like they’re trying too hard (because they’re not—they’re just that dope). Whether they’re clowning about something wild from their week or getting deep, it always hits. It honestly feels like a chill kickback with your homegirls—if your homegirls were elite-level podcasters, LOL. Bottom line: don’t let the “for women” label scare you off. My first listen to the podcast Episode 1 gave me the feeling of sitting at home in my living room, talking with my girlfriends about friendship. I appreciate the reminder about the importance of our platonic relationships. you often put an emphasis on romantic relationships however, the platonic ones can be the roots that we need as we journey through this life. The imagery of Molly and Issa reminded me of realistic ups and downs of adult relationships. Imani and Ashley are a great example of giving each other space while also being there to support one another when it matters. This podcast had me reflecting and wanting to journal about my current relationships. Thank you for creating this space, ladies! I can’t wait for the next episode—then you can say “welcome back”! Lol.
