“Do you remember your first day at school?” That simple question introduces us to Frenchtown, a small mill town neighborhood on the banks of the Connecticut River, where we first meet and then share in the adventures of a group of close friends as they navigate an often rocky route from a working class childhood in the mid 1950’s, to the challenges of adulthood in the early 1980’s.
