Great to improve listening
Love their episodes on French culture, manners and how to speak like a native. They both speak super clearly in French. Highly recommend!

Sound effects
Thank you for the interestingly diverse episodes, and for keeping it super real! Just could you please change the sounds effect between sections? The one that sounds like a far away but huge bang/explosion. It makes the vibe of a horror movie

Great teachers, interesting topics
They are a bit fast but as my French has improved I’ve been really enjoying all the content! The 2 teachers have a great dynamic and I enjoy hearing their perspectives!

Just what I’ve longed for!!! This is the best show I’ve found for activating my mind and helping unlock the French I already know. I love it!!!

Une réussite!
Un podcast très facile à suivre et très intéressant. Violaine et Nathan choisissent des sujets courants et pertinents à ceux qui parlent français comme deuxième langue, qu’ils vivent France ou ailleurs. J’anticipe chaque episode nouveau. Bonne continuation!

Best advanced podcast I’ve found.
The two hosts speak at a great speed for advanced learners and stay on topic. I’ve found myself able to concentrate and understand while doing the dishes or walking my dog. Great discovery! Thank you.

Great for intermediate conversation practice !
As an American living in France for over 5 years, I am super motivated to continually improve my French. I think the best way to do this is to take in as much of the language as possible by listening and reading every day. I am at the stage (B1 working on B2) where my goal is to understand real spoken French, rather than the excellent ‘slow French’ podcasts I’ve listened to to get me this far. This podcast is just a bit more advanced, with two people speaking a bit faster, and a bit more naturally than fully scripted podcasts or audio books. Nathan and Violaine have a nice rapport, with pleasant but very different voices, so your brain needs to work just a bit harder to follow them as they chat. I really appreciate the transcripts they provide on their website (starting with episode 11.) The transcripts are pretty much word for word accurate, which is great, and probably a lot of extra work to get right. Culturally, from my perspective as a foreigner living in France, I think Nathan and Violaine are very French, which for me, just adds to the pleasure because I’m a believer in the whole French way of life and way of thinking and living, and you will get a little taste of that by getting to know these two nice people. In short, I highly recommend this podcast.

French major aux EU craves French convos!
This is excellent! I am an American in Minnesota without much occasion to speak French and this makes me feel like I’m in the middle of a conversation! I love the speed at which you talk and the repetition of words. Merci!

Good start!
Good start to a weekly conversational podcast between two French speakers. They’re speaking at something close to native speed and liaisoning, but it’s still very understandable, taking time to give a second run through for lesser known words. Best of luck for them going forward - and good luck continuing to find 20-30 minute discussion topics each week!

French With Panache
An excellent podcast for French learners at the intermediate or early-advanced level. Two former French journalists talk about various interesting cultural and newsworthy topics. I’m at an intermediate level, and I found the conversation to be understandable but not dumbed-down. Great for improving listening comprehension. Bon boulot!
