Hard to get through
I appreciate having a different perspective in this sport. However, this is khans to get through because the host struggles with clear and grammatical English, often making up nonsensical words. I have to pass on this one.

Diverse perspectives and awesome women
This podcast is always a highlight of my week. Thank you for making the women's pro cycling community feel like a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive family and welcoming your audience into your conversations each week. I love how the line up includes women who are involved in so many aspects of the sport (national team staff at worlds, journalists, former teammates of current pros, cyclist alliance etc etc). Well done! You are all inspirational!

True pros!
I LOVE this podcast. I am so so impressed by how much knowledge, experience, and love the hosts have for their sport, and by their critical perceptiveness. This TDFF was an incredible experience, even just as a fan at home, and Freeweheeling was a huge part of that for me. Thank you so much!

Thank you
Freewheeling Podcast had the best coverage of the Tour de France Femme by Zwift!!! There’s another podcast for Women's cycling that had good coverage But nothing compared to Freewheeling’s coverage. Great Job Ladies!!!

Really earned greater respect for the Podcast
Just want to say Thank you for your comments about being to harsh on Kristin Faulkner (hope I spelled her name correctly). She may not be experienced but she is fun to watch; an American in a European dominated sport doing well. When any person from the USA does well in both Pro pelotons, it gives me hope about our contribution to a wonderful but cruel sport. Cannot wait to hear the Tour de France Femme daily Pods. Keep up the great work ladies!!! Todd from SWFL

Women’s Cycling is Super Cool
I wish there was more coverage of women’s cycling. This show is a great start. Thanks - Also - Women’s Cycling Rocks! The new intro music is horrible, it’s way too milk toast white.

We need more!
This is a great show, and is doing wonders to expose the inequalities of men’s vs. women’s cycling. Keep up the great work!

Loving this perspective!
I am really enjoying these podcats. The focus on women's cycling is great. But what makes it special is the experience and perspective the talented hosts bring to the show. I also really love the honesty and transparency they are able to get from their guests. Keep up the great work- I'm loving it!

Great podcast with great perspective into women's cycling

Better & better with each episode!
Thank you so much, Abby & team, for this great podcast. You’ve made women’s racing much more enjoyable for me, as I now know so much more about the people, the teams & the issues in women’s racing. So glad that I joined Veloclub this year to support this. You mentioned women’s development— I think it is def worth exploring if in reality women physically reach their endurance peak much later than men. And I bet it really varies gal to gal. (Though seems like w modem training, non sprinty men might have longer careers.)

Gear ratios = best episode
Can we learn more about “gear ratios”? 😁

Professional bicycle racing, for humans with feelings
If a thing you’re missing in the world right now is leaning back around a campfire and listening to your friends’ quiet cross-chat about bike racing, life experiences, random cultural artifacts, and also how it makes them feel, this is the cycling podcast for you. If it’s not for you, that’s ok- there’s a hundred other cycling podcasts that have more in common with each other than Freewheeling does with any of them. I wish there were a hundred podcasts like this one. But if there were, Freewheeling would probably still be my favorite. Abby Mickey is the core and heart of this- constantly impressed by her skill as an interviewer, her respect for her guest’s perspectives, and her willingness to stand up for her own experiences and others’.

Thumbs up!
Excellent podcast and a refreshing change of pace from the regular cycling podcasts that seem to forget women exist. Also Taylor Swift content. Love it!

Great female perspective on cycling
Enjoying listening to female athletes and pros on this podcast. Thank you for keeping the balance!

Please shorten episodes!!
I love this podcast but I honestly don’t like when podcasts are more than 30-40 minutes. Would love to hear shorter episodes that happen more frequently. I also get confused when there are multiple interviews in the same podcast, would prefer if each interview was its own episode 😀

I look forward to this podcast!
I came late to cycling and have fully embraced it and been so frustrated with the lack of women’s voices and was excited to find vox women. I was already a cycling tips and velo club member so was so glad to have Abby Mickey join and then start her own! And I am a serious Tswift fan and couldn’t help reflecting on the incredibly boring conversation about Castelli’s new light kit on the cycling tips weekly podcast which made me roll my eyes, as I was getting into the dissection of every Taylor album. Thank you Abby on so many levels!

A new and refreshing take on cycling
This show does a great job of having a different topic every episode so I never get bored listening while still including much needed news of women’s cycling. Abby and Loren are fantastic together and I look forward to this podcast putting out more great content in the future!

Great episode on gravel
My husband and I have been contemplating a gravel event for awhile, and this episode of Freewheeling is making me more excited about trying one. Good insight Abby, thank you.

I’m With Abbey
Great start! I’ve enjoyed the first two episodes and look forward to more. Also, speak your truth about gravel, Abby! Give me pavement!

Wonderful Contribution to the Cycling Media World
This podcast, and the content shared in this first episode is such a necessary conversation for the world of cycling and athletics in general. You can tell that Abby has so much experience in the sport and so much passion for health and well being. It’s so refreshing to hear her thoughts on something specific to women. I think her insights could help to shape a more sustainable for future for athletes of all ages.

Do some research
Wanted to like this. I couldn’t find a way of enjoying it. The interview with Ruth was so limited. If you hadn’t read the Bicycling article then you’d have no idea what they are talking about. In the second interview she admits she didn’t know what she was talking about. How can you take so little interest in your topic or your guests that you don’t even look up what the acronym of the headline topic in advance?!

An great start
I love getting the female perspective in cycling and sports in general. It’s certainly needed! I’ll give it five stars when it’s a bit more polished and confident with its voice. One suggestion. Please figure out how to eliminate the “like” filler word. Empty air while you think about what you want to say is not a bad or scary thing.

First episode.
The first episode was really good. As a guy, I listened because I know nothing about women’s issues. It also wasn’t dismissive about men who don’t. I found it helpful. Abby will be a great podcast host, and I think this will be a good series.
Fremont71
Disappointed
Please tackle topics you’re more informed about. Mary Cain’s board certified sports dietitian did not tell her to eat less. Her coach did - who had zero formal education on performance nutrition. When you make comments like this, you hurt the field and keep athletes from seeking out help from real professionals.

A much needed voice in cycling!
So excited to see Freewheeling evolve into a solid fixture in the cycling journalism space. Abby is deeply passionate about the sport and offers a really refreshing voice on the airwaves. Keep the content coming!
