Gave this show a chance looking for something new to listen to, the female host ran through 5 topics including geopolitics in the 15 minutes I tuned in, all of which she was impressively ignorant of. I honestly couldn’t tell if she was serious. Seems she browses headlines and then stitches her own narrative of a topic together without any additional context outside of asking her mom. Went on about El Salvador and after shares she didn’t know where it was on a map or how small it was, that makes sense. This was like listening to the freshman college student ranting in the free speech lawn of the quad bad. People listen to this embarrassing idiocy? The male host pretty much said nothing the whole time.

Listening for almost a decade. Listened everyday for almost ten years but recently lost my interest. The show was fabulous until darryl w perry and ian freeman left. Now the show has become one i feel like im listening to an echo chamber. Hope one day the show gets back to where it once was.

Nobody does it better

Used to be great years ago, but now the hosts are all perfect examples of the Dunning-Kruger effect. They talk way too authoritatively about subjects they're not knowledgeable on, and veer into idiotic conspiracy theories occasionally. They're also way too dogmatic. It was much better when Mark was on to provide a different point of view from most of the hosts.

Amazing smart short cuts

Wow. Get 3 little inconsiderate and ignorant girls together and the whole show is continuing to go to crap. Ian needs to rein in his wife, and the he-she with the hope of ally Nikki, plan on conquering the libertarian world with their delusional self aggrandizement. The continued gas lighting by these 3 against callers, and then callTHEM ignorant simply amazes me. Just skip the shows when these baby girl tears are on. BTW, the ally doesn’t behave this way on Sunday. Because she’s got men to control her .

The banter between the hosts is great, but the collars detract from the show tremendously

It’s so nice to hear the real story and not the statist/war propaganda on the mainstream news. It’s also entertaining to hear all the various callers.

On the last show, Ian made the statement that Star Trek was made in the 1950’s….Wrong! 1966! That was the only thing that I found wrong with the last episode.

I may not agree with everything all the time but I agree with it most of the time. Government has never been the solution in my lifetime.

Love that you can talk about ANYTHING not just the approved topics of the Corp establishment. Thanks for the outlet for free speech.

It’s a decent show no where near a Tom woods or Dave smith etc but they seem to deliver relevant info and then basically shoot the breeze about the news. It’s alright (edit) idk I still stand by what I said, but it’s too much shooting the breeze for me, no real takes on the issues and they are not very good at dealing with callers. Ps crypto is fools gold, might be a good investment, but it’s not a good currency

Get the B off the podcast ,her voice is the worst ever. And she contributes nothing. Also the 10 minute commercial breaks make the podcast unlistenable.their feminine voices make it confusing. Suppose to be one male host and one female host But both sound female , one sounds more male ,the other sounds transgender.these confused hosts should not be on the air commenting on relationships when they are clearly are confused themselves.they waste minutes trying to be funny, but only are funny to themselves.

I’ve been listening since they were still in Florida and didn’t even have a Sunday show. They were talking about how the minimum wage is actually harmful to workers and I had never heard that perspective before. I was early 20s or late teens at the time and it really persuaded me and I’ve been a fan since. I really enjoyed the hosts from the past such as Gardner Goldsmith, Wayne, and Stephanie Murphy. Earlier on it seemed more focused on the calls where now it’s more about discussing their show prep with calls sprinkled in between. Although on the other hand with some callers I love when they cut them off short. Call in sometime and argue the opposite position that Ian and Mark are taking on the topic of the day.

I’ve always had these ideas never knew where how categorize them. nobody ever understood me when I said if you are free then lwhy do we need a license to fish to hunt to put electrical in my garage. It’s awesomeTo find out that I’m not the only one that has realize this. And it opened my eyes to other things that I really didn’t think about until I heard them talking about it. Yeah some of the ideas are little out there. Some of the hosts our less pleasant to listen to. But all in all this show has enlighten me far beyond what I ever thought the radio show would do.

Mark and Ian are the greatest living radio duo and will go down as the most principled proponents of peace and liberty of the 21st century radio and podcast era.

I listen to your show EVERY day. I have for maybe 4-5 years now I guess. But we need to take a break. See other people. This week has been exhausting and very frustrating. I’ve had to turn off the show two days in a row now. The hostility on the show against people who try to explain a consistent and principled view on self defense is ridiculous. So before you attack me as being someone who “supports killing cops” as you have with so many of your regular listeners lately.....I don’t support killing ANYONE. I don’t support killing black people. If you do...there may be a backlash to doing so. We’ve certainly seen that before. I don’t support killing gay men. I can imagine that shooting may be twisted up in the media and it could be bad news for you, gun owners, and people who believe in self defense. But if your life is in danger, if someone is beating in your skull with their boots...you grab whatever will stop them the quickest and you deal with the repercussions later. That is a natural instinct. Yes they may have a gang of people around the corner ready to blow you to smithereens. But when you fear impending death anyways...you roll the dice and pray for the best. Maybe to put it a different way. I don’t “support” racism. I do not encourage it. I don’t like being around racist people. But I will always support ones right to free speech. Speech that I may not agree with. That I may find offensive. I also support ones right to shoot up heroine. Do I encourage people to shoot up heroine? No. I think it’s stupid and can screw up your life and the life of your children and other people close to you. But I support your ability to do it if that is what you want to do. I support the right but not necessarily the act. I won’t hand you a syringe. I won’t buy the drugs for you. But shoot up brother!! Support of a right is different than encouraging an act. It seems a group of people who have championed rulings that it is legal to shoot a cop in self defense would understand this.....but apparently not. This is the same group that is scared of the word “anarchy” because of what other people think of it. Grow some spines, be consistent and principled and stop alienating your long time listeners because some of us choose to be principled and consistent rather than politically correct like yourselves. I’ll likely be back. But I’m not sure when. I just can’t take the slanderous attacks on your listeners anymore. Certainly not this week.

I have been listening since 2011. Just noticed it was in the iTunes podcasts. Great show...However, for someone who doesn't care that much about bitcoin, they sure talk about it a lot on some episodes!

Not your typical podcast. Well, for starters it’s a radio show that espouses freedom, true personal freedom as its guiding principle. I’ve been listening for over 11 years. I’ve learned a lot. I’ve found others who think that the right wing and the left wing are parts of the same bird that’s been pooping on my windshield all these years.

Great crew discussing meaningful topics to the libertarian audience. Anyone interested in freedom and liberty should take it for a spin. Listen for Mark and Ian, stay for Scott the bigot.

Free Talk Live is a libertarian leaning radio show where the callers have priority and choose the subjects. They cover nearly any and all topics. I have been enjoying and learning from their podcasts for over 10 years. I even called in once to describe my day of jury duty. In past shows they discussed the improtance of a fully informed jury. That information was of great help to me when I got called in for jury duty. Also, they have a new show every day 7 days a week.

I’ve been listening to this open phones call-in show for over a decade now. They have maintained a consistent, principled liberty-minded message as they discuss current issues, news, and philosophy. The hosts have an excellent on-air quality, and the best part is that if you disagree with their libertarian views, they encourage you to call in! The best shows are always the ones where people call in to disagree. They even let crazy / insane people call in, and those conversations are almost always entertaining as well.

Honestly the best consistent show for my addiction for libertarianism! If you want to hear a show that provides any topic with libertarian commentary. This is the show- never boring and always delivering topics that provoke the mind. Not everything you'll listen to on this show you'll agree with, but you'll keep coming back to learn more. Trust me! It was this show that truly solidified my strong unwavering love for freedom!

Free Talk Live is not only a podcast but is carried on over 170 radio stations. Even though they definitely lean Libertarian, they welcome phone calls from people who have opposing views. Open debate is welcome and encouraged. Anyone can call and talk about any subject. And they broadcast live 7 days a week from 7-10 PM in addition to the podcast and Youtube channel. Worth listening to!

I listen to every episode during my drives, workouts, etc. They help me understand liberty and learn about all the injustices in the world. The also keep me informed on cryptocurrencies on a basic level. FTL is the best filter for non biased news. If you love liberty, you'll love Free Talk Live.

This show is the show for liberty minded people, who are looking for something that is pro liberty. Also, FTL is a show you can control by calling in about anything on your mind, from strange conspiracy theories, to what's happening in the world, you can take control of the air waves.

This is an open phones talk show where they talk about libertarian ideas. I love it when they go back and forth with callers who disagree. Great radio

Wether you like the hosts or agree with their views, this is one of the best jump off points into the world of trivium thinking.

My only issue is with the digest episodes. There really needs to be a way to make them not show up in the feed. They are a waste of my time.

Been listening for years. Great debates and intelligent discussions.

I started listening to the podcast before 2010 and I have rarely missed one of their shows ever since, even though there is a new show 365 days a year! I like some hosts better than others but the hosts are different every day, so I never have to deal with a bad host for long. While I disagree with a good number of the points that are made on the show I find the discussions entertaining and know that when I want I can call in and tell them why I think they are wrong. Since they talk callers and let those callers talk about what is on their mind I find it nice to hear what the general populace finds important and wants to talk about.

I start listening by accident, after doing a Google search "free talk show" with the intent of boosting my English listening skills. First, I thought these guys were insane. They were openly advocating for secession and home schooling, against tax collection. While I did not agree with them on these and many other issues (and still don't), I found the show extremely entertaining and thought-provoking. It brought me to the arguments that I have never heard before, to the ideas that people don't usually discuss. It helped me to shape my own political standpoint. It helped me to learn much about American culture. I simply love this show.

I drive a lot, and I used to be forced to listen to whatever was on the radio. But since discovering free talk live, I generally listen to their podcast while driving. I can't tell you the difference it's made to be able to listen to content I actually enjoy rather than sports or right wing politics. The conversation is always based on the ideas of liberty which makes the disagreements between the host even more interesting.

Always an interesting discussion. Glad they keep it fresh with new co hosts and people who don't always quite agree with each other. Some of the crazy callers make for a few laughs. Overall one of my favorite podcasts.

Ian and Mark have opened my eyes and help put into words the political philosophy I live by. These guys will blow your mind with some of their ideas. Some call it extreme, others call it polite. Either way download it now. I will say it took me a few episodes before I started to enjoy this podcast. I later realized it's because it challenges my core beliefs.
