If only Mike could stop trying to make everything a debate. I love how the other host’s don’t cater to his opinions and and refuse to compensate his whining by agreeing with him ill 🙄. Looking at the past reviews seems like other people have the same opinion. I’m starting to think he doesn’t like reviewing movies.

I wanted to like this podcast because the guys are funny and they have a nice banter, but man, this has got to be the lowest effort broadcast out there. If anything in the story is deeper than surface level they seem befuddled; "I don't get it," seemed to be their most common phrase. I left 2⭐ in the hope that they'll improve in the future because we need more diverse voices but this one has a long way to go.

Good conversation and perspective

This pod is very entertaining constant laughs, some nice thoughtful takes, too woke at times, and I think one of them said Django was the worse movie ever made which is blasphemous but overall these ppl worth it, double recommend to my FOLKS.

I was skeptical about the dead end spinoffs after i dove head first into black korea.. But fps is top tier and definitely deserves more/all the love. Great laughs, great crew, great perspective.

I love hearing their banter back in forth. Nae is my favorite and I’m sad she’s not on as much as she used to be. I enjoy Spike knowledge on shows and Ken too. They all bring so much fun to the podcast and I love their coverage. Sometimes Mike irritates me since he can be a bit negative or aggressive in his views but overall I appreciate their content and hard work to bring us great content. Thanks guys. Miss you Nae!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoy hearing the reviews from the culture. Most of the time they take a deep dive on reviews. But Mike is just oppositional and defiant. He constantly hates everything and he is draining. We get it, you are the grumpy critic, just sit a movie out you never have anything positive.

I’m all about support and supporting folks! But if I have to hear how much Mike hates Shogun (and most shows he’s been asked to “review”) it just gets..taxing on my ears! Like stop with the endless whining..it exacerbates any other flaws! Keep trucking but drop the haters and “friends”!

I guess if you are black this might be for you..

Best podcast in the world

Not good

I was really disappointed in the analysis of “X” and especially “Pearl”. The hosts talked about being unsatisfied by the lack of "answers" Pearl provied. I don't think it's about that. It's about painting the landscape and building context. There doesn't have to be an explicit "why". Pearl’s psychopathic behavior is shaped and brought to a head from her experience as a woman of that time. She was brought up in a repressed household- her parents being first generation German immigrants, and a repressed society plagued by pandemic and war. The hosts talked about why pearl didn’t explain the “sex stuff” in X but you have to fill in the blanks. Think about the scarecrow scene.. think about how the projectionist showed her a pornographic film for the first time.. and now think about the conservatism of the time Pearl grew up in addition to the restraints her mother imposed on her, and how she ultimately never escaped it. It was my first time listening to this podcast- I picked it after skimming a few other podcast descriptions after reading that FPS had in depth discussion I clicked. I was let down…. It all felt like a really subjective read with no real critical lens or context.

Great dialogue, honesty and diversity in opinion. FPS has even inspired me to watch ish I disrespected for 10yrs i.e GOT’s and had me binge watch the show to keep up with recap at the time. Keep it going

So, I only listened to one podcast and actually couldn’t listen to all of it so this is based off my initial impression which isn’t good. The three hosts constantly talk over one another which makes any movie review difficult to follow. The audio quality is atrocious and the movie that was reviewed wasn’t even a review. It was merely phrases “I ain’t mad at it” which brings nothing to the table. On top of that, it was evident the hosts weren’t prepared to discuss the movie they had just watched since they didn’t know the setting which as presented early on in the film. Therefore, I am confused by the ratings that praise this. Again, maybe it was the one episode I chose to listen. Unfortunately, this podcast isn’t for me.

W podcast def need more love

Out of all the things that DEHH does this gives off the classic feel they had when they started with. The Falcon & Winter Soldier review is by far the funniest and re-listenable podcasts ever.

I’ve been listening you guys since 2019. You guys made me watch movies and shows just off these reviews. I would vote y’all as better movie critics than some of these other people. Keep going!

I don’t understand how you review movies & TV Series without paying attention to the movie or TV Series. It’s almost like they review stuff while on their phones or doing something else that takes attention elsewhere. My other issue is THEY HATE EVERYTHING‼️ You can’t go down the “Poor Writing” road but so much until people start to ask: What have you written? 🤔

This is the best podcast I’ve listened to. I find myself listening to reviews of movies i haven’t even watched. The cast here are awesome at putting things into different perspectives and really breaking down the movies to make It make more sense or less sense. The cast really puts in the work and are hilarious. I love this podcast!

hey guys just wanted to say I’ve been a fan since y’all reviewed Kendricks Section 80 whatever year that was. FPS is my favorite format for you guys and that is mainly because of one Mr Nick. Nick brings such a breath of fresh air to you guys’ dynamic it is actually great. Hope to see Nick in more of you guys’ projects and hopefully he shows up in a DEHH video one day.

I enjoyed your review of Black is King. I haven’t finished watching the whole show because we’ve lost our internet due to recent weather. I was curious about what people thought Beyoncé was trying to portray in this show. I too found it beautiful and confusing in regards to the story. I understood the references to lion king but felt there was more but couldn’t quite figure it out. Thanks for your thoughts. I liked the show and hope I can finish watching soon.

The crew is large and rotates so many good hosts to almost fit the topic, they’re always funny and sound like casual friends discussing movies with some members offering more technical critique

This is honestly sometimes better than IsTheMicStill pod. The jokes are amazing. They question the norm with the average movie review, and give a comedic flow to movie reviews.

I have been a long-time watcher of the Walking Dead since the beginning and have listened to the Frames Per Second podcast’s reviews of the show through the seasons. Ken, Myck, Beezy, Feefo, Rod, etc are fun to listen to, they have great chemistry and the reviews are funny and attentive to the themes and characters we have grown to know. Super Entertaining.

They give interesting takes that you must hear!

I was really really entertained with the Captain Marvel review podcast and this might be one of my new favorites. Love almost all the Dead End podcasts and this one is great. I just hope that they moved to a more structured outline like. “Move Trailers/Movie News” > “Movie Review” and maybe something else to end it and maybe a scoring system for each person using stars, thats the only constructive criticism I have, other than that, awesome.
