My husband and I were lost spiritually. The Holy Spirit guided us to Father Hogan and helped us to become Catholic. He has forever changed our lives and we are so grateful to him. Even though he is no longer our priest, we still listen to his podcasts. His podcasts remind us how talented of a priest he is and how he has made Catholicism accessible for people to understand. Everyone needs to be aware that this man is solely responsible for closing St. Simon School in St. Louis County. He terminated almost every woman in a position of power, including the Principal of the school, the Director, and Assistant Director of the preschool during enrollment period. His dictatorial nature caused others to quit. He left our parish in shambles, then cowardly abandoned the parish in the middle of the night. There is nothing Christ-like about his actions. Children and families have suffered immense pain. He does not listen to others or respect women. He showed no remorse and clearly has not learned from his actions. The Archdiocese has lost all credibility by continuing to appoint this man to parishes. Please beware of anything he says.
