Did you know we can be more of the World OR more of the Word!?
When we’re of the world we often can get caught in the comparison trap and feel less attractive, unworthy, unloved, lost, and wonder what we have to offer.
When we're in the Word, we find peace and joy with things that are actually important so we don't feel the need to compete!
I wanted to do this episode in order to create a “tool box” of Bible verses that you can keep with you so whenever the enemy is getting you down, you can pull it out and remember WHO God created you to be!

Sometimes we feel like we want to be told exactly what to eat so we think a diet will work by giving us strict instructions to follow and see results.
Then we start the diet regimen and eventually feel restricted, annoyed, and consumed with making food choices we don't want to make! Like ordering a grilled chicken salad instead of pizza! The diet rollercoaster is filled with ups and downs, restriction, and binge eating! NO FUN!!!
In today's episode I share with you exactly how I eat and 3 questions I consistently ask myself in order to be a conscious and present eater instead of eating out of habit, eating out of frustration and binging, or simply overeating.
I hope these three questions help you to become more self aware and take better control of your choices too! Remember, nutrition doesn't have to be so hard! ALL foods are invited at the table and you shouldn't feel guilty about that, you just need to learn how to do it in a healthy way!

What price do you pay in order to reach certain health and wellness goals?!?
Do you skip out on a party in order to not be tempted by the food. Pass on girls-night because you can't trust yourself around chips and queso? Maybe you attend events but aren't totally present because you're concerned about what to order to stay "on track". You're preoccupied by not ordering certain things that you really want so you can't stop thinking about it instead of just enjoying those around you...

In today's episode I share with you something that's on my heart after some recent events happened to people near and dear to me. It helped me to realize how precious life is and sometimes we get so caught up in the world and trying to look a certain way, reach our goal weight (haven't I told you to throw away that scale?!?), get abs, look bikini ready, etc...and for what?
Yes, it's totally OK to have health and wellness goals but it's not OK to obsess over them and miss out on life in the meantime! Here are 2 reminders to help you out! ENJOY!!

Nutrition is often a pendulum that swings heavy one way or the other...
Restricting, dieting, working out to burn certain foods off, counting calories, macros, or points and walking inside the lines of a THICK rulebook.
OR...
Binge eating, consuming everything you can get your hands on, not working out or moving your body, throwing your hands in the air and feeling defeated.
