This is one of my top favorite actual play podcasts. There is a high amount of roleplaying and acting that it makes great entertainment. Skull and Shackles is a great AP for a live play podcast too. My complaint is that there isn’t enough people talking in pirate voices, hah! Even though they end this before reaching the end of the AP, it is worth a listen.

Another great pathfinder play podcast

Good start

The GM is amazing and most of the cast are great, but one of the players thinks that casual misogyny counts as having a personality, and tends to butt in with little quips that just ruin the flow of the game play. It’s sad because otherwise it’s a really solid group.

I'm sad to hear this podcast is ending. I just finished episode 11 when I saw the tweet. I really enjoy the chemistry between everyone. The adventure path is very entertaining, very fun mechanics involved. I do hope they receive this lovely adventure down the road.

I do not like Pathfinder. I do not like ‘sea faring adventures.’ I do not like pre-made adventures. I listen to over twenty different podcasts (because I have that kind of time, apparently) and this one has me riveted for weeks listening to every episode to get caught up because I accidentally stumbled upon it one day. To sum it up in one word: genuine. Thank you very much for providing so much fantastic entertainment! As soon as I figure out your Patreon, I’ll be a donor!

I was amazed at how quickly I fell in love with these characters and the rich world of pirating that they inhabit, including the vibrant cast of supporting NPCs. The players and GM are charming, balancing just the right amount of voice acting and 4th-wall-breaking-humor. They create an atmosphere of fun, adventure and drama, and I can’t wait to hear what happens each new episode!

This is a solid Podcast with a fun group of folks. They straddle the line between oppressive rules and slapstick quite nicely. Good chuckles and good combat, although the more enjoyable parts of the show are the character interactions. Cheers!

It's got pirates. If you need more than that it's got great role players, really interesting characters, and a group that seems to be having a ton of fun but really the Pirates should be enough.

Definitely a great AP to listen to.

This is hands down the best rpg podcast available. It’s easy to follow, great flow of the gameplay, and awesome characters. Expertly GMing, great players, fantastic adventure, a true must listen for Pathfinder and RPG fans!

This is a great podcast. All the players have excellent personalities. The roll play is so natural and not forced!!

I’ve only played Pathfinder a bit, but Called Shot makes it really easy to follow the story and the rules, even when I jumped in on a random episode. I’m still catching up, but I can’t wait to listen to more. And I want to be friends with the folks on this podcast!

I can't recommend this show enough. I started on Glass Cannon and have spent months looking for something to scratch that itch and this is it. Group has great chemistry and even during slower sections of the AP I was fully engaged in the characters.

It’s hard to find Pathfinder actual play podcasts and it’s even harder to find any that are good. This one is great. Great characters, great GMing, excellent audio quality. It’s a lot of fun and you should listen, especially if you enjoy Glass Cannon Podcast. I’d put this one right up there with GCP for quality.

Just got all caught up on The Glass Cannon Podcast and was suggested this one. Started listening the other day and I'm already 16 episodes in. These guys are very entertaining and the sound quality is fantastic. The Adventure Path they are doing can get a little redundant, but the PCs and GM make up for it. Definitely recommend this for anyone who likes listening to similar podcasts.

I am new to podcasts in general and have been going through tons of them to find things I like. After my friend Adam (John Ollie) turned me on to The Called Shot, I never looked back...I HAVE to have this podcast on every time I am driving somewhere!!!!! Amazing adventures, wonderful players and great storytelling...you won’t be disappointed!

GM Wes does a GREAT job, there is an intersting mix of characters and classes, and there are pirates. You should be listening to this!

You don’t get many pathfinder podcasts with great players, characters, sound quality AND production, but here we are with CalledShot. Can’t wait to listen to more and follow their awesome adventure.

I hate to compare podcasts, but Glass Cannon has set the bar so high in the last few years, and with this podcast, you are getting the same great clear voices. The GM is good and very accomidating to the players. The players do good with interacting with each other and playing off each others strengths and character weaknesses. The way everyone connects makes this anjoyable to listen to. And I actually can't wait to hear the next episode drop. MORE MORE MORE

If you're into role playing games of any type, definitely check this out. This a great, laid-back, well-rounded, and experienced group of players. Audio is great. Episodes aren't too long or drawn out. You can tell they have fun playing and putting together this podcast. The story and campaign are also very fun.

Laid back group, seems to enjoy playing together. I'll listen to it while at work for sure.
