With IssaMary, we unravel the concept of forgiveness as an energetic exchange, a force that restores spiritual balance and harmony. Drawing inspiration from shamanic traditions, we navigate the healing power of rituals, the wisdom inherent in nature's elements, and the practice of inner journeying to release the shackles of resentment and open the doors to personal renewal. Join us to discover how rituals, nature's elements, and inner exploration serve as potent tools in the shamanic toolkit for fostering forgiveness and facilitating profound healing, and as we navigate all this, we invite you to reflect on your own experiences, beliefs, and practices surrounding forgiveness and healing.

The end of the year is always a time to draw lines, make charts and reflect on what the past year has signified. In this episode, we reflect on something that is a silent epidemic, affects many people and families in the world, and yet we hardly talk about, never mind discuss how it can be addressed. Today we talk about femicide. It might feel uncomfortable to learn about the size of this problem, and we appreciate this might not be the time of the year when you want to dwell on distressing topics, but I hope that as we sit around our tables cheering in gratitude for what we received and hopes for a better future, we can also add a wish that heinous acts of killing girls and women by the hand of someone in their personal sphere will end. Let’s all make a pledge to talk, seek solutions, campaign, support and do whatever it takes so that no other life is lost. Let’s all make a pledge to educate today’s children, boys and girls, to become better future men and women that will know how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way, they’ll know what true love is, they’ll show respect for their partner and life. Let’s come together to say NO MORE!

Today, we reflect on how solitude feels, and what impact it can have on our mental well-being, especially during the holidays when everybody around us is celebrating. In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we can get so caught up by adhering to the season tradition that little time is left to us to stop, and reflect, and even perhaps to consider what this festive period might signify for those who spend this time of the year in solitude, whether out of choice or circumstances. We also take this opportunity to ask ourselves how we can rise above the loneliness feelings and instead embrace, and perhaps even make sense of the holidays spent alone.
