Iain, please do yourself a favor and get rid of Tessa. You are going to lose your audience. I love your open, mindedness and balance on issues. You call balls and strikes as you see them. Tessa's unrelentless and distasteful bashing Of America and her inability to connect with her fellow Brit's because of her toffee nosed socialistic personality and her obsession with Romania should be enough for you to let her loose. Send her over to the two other anti American pontificating nit wits at The Rest is Politics, she'll fit right in.

First, Iain can’t get a word in, and so far only hearing Trump bashing. I have to believe you are not educating yourself with balanced media. As I am not a woke Brit, it is my place to leave. Sure miss For The Many.

I’ve listened for some time. I like the discussion from two sides. However, I do not enjoy the constant jokes of a sexual nature, e.g. transvestite jokes, “Sloppy Seconds” was the title of the last show, etc. When the show dropped the Wednesday podcast, which was openly more in that direction, the new weekly one just became the new Wednesday podcast in my opinion.

Only recently found this podcast after receiving their viral naughty joke. Such a refreshing show, insightful and funny

If you want to listen to a current events podcast by a couple of very dry, robotic, over educated, pompous academics, this isn’t the podcast for you. Jacqui and Iain are real people who mischievously cover the topics of the week with a down to earth sense of fun that I haven’t found anywhere else.

Iain and Jacqui clearly have decades of full body immersion in the world of politics. That’s a vital foundation, but they also bring (relatively) open minds and a genuine sense of fun that makes this a great listen for political junkies like me.
