As a former loyal listener from the very beginning of FCOL, Covid is when I stopped listening to this podcast when Stephanie and her crazy became unbearable to listen to and Lynette had no original opinion ever! They live in a bubble and it just became impossible. I was thinking of coming back to listen again to some random reason the podcast popped into my head… but reading these comments reminded me Immediately of why I stopped listening in the first place.

have been a loyal listener for well over a decade and have always looked forward to this podcast each week. However, in recent years—particularly in 2025—Stephanie's political commentary and personal views have made it increasingly difficult to enjoy. I deeply appreciate Lynette, who has never expressed opinions like these, and I feel for her that she is affected by this. I am seriously reconsidering my support. I have already unfollowed Stephanie on social media and stopped engaging with her projects, as I cannot in good conscience support someone who has celebrated another person's death over a difference in views. It’s disappointing to feel that something I once loved so much has become nearly unbearable to follow.

Boring. Irrelevant.

Lynette is purely dumb in every sense of the word. A walking hypocrite in her judgment of others while she abuses drugs and drives drunk. Stefanie is a vile, sick woman. She pushes her sick agenda on everyone, criticizes anyone who doesn’t agree with her and believes in child mutilation. Now she’s gone so far as to celebrate the murder of a young father of two small children because he didn’t agree with her ideologically. She’s pure evil and to listen to this woman is like putting burning incense in your ears

Have listened for many years. Lynette is cool and sweet! Unfortunately, her cohost brings down the pod with her inability to tolerate opinions that may differ from her own. It’s Stef’s way or the highway!

Perhaps if you plan on doing the opposite of what these dingbats say, you could get some parenting tips. Otherwise, all you’re going to hear is two privileged women complain and spew hate.

Unlistenable Pod Summary: Two moms who cannot allow their adult kids to adult on their own, half- heartedly discuss being dysfunctional moms and bad/judgmental adults who are honestly harming their children rather than helping. If you put an “ummm” counter on this show, it would run out of numbers. Gross self-absorbed, judgmental people. It’s just a waste of time.

I wish you would not play these podcasts on this channel.

Always enjoy listening to these ladies! I was reading the reviews and I think some people just have bad days. These ladies are so funny! The added throw back Thursday Podcast is a plus!!!

Caelan added a lot to the show. He provides smart, thoughtful comments. He works hard without complaining. I also like the Lynette & Caelan banter. Steph getting a little better, but is too absorbed. She has a hard time keeping discussion going unless its about her. Caelan balanced it all.

I love this podcast because it feels like listening to two best friends, and it makes me feel like part of their friendship! They share so many things in common with each other—and with me—which makes it even more enjoyable.

This is the worst listening experience I’ve ever had.

Listened since all their kids were 4+ yrs old….so boring now, lots of dog talk, repeating stories over and over, what tv shows they’re watching…. Blah blah blah. Time to retire.

Used to love this show, listened because of Lynette.. but her kowtowing to SWT is not tolerable any longer.

I’m a long time listener. I remember when Lynette had her own opinion and could stand in her own two feet. But, now things have gone south. Lynette just goes along with whatever Stephanie says, offers nothing new. Banter between two people is healthy. If you are real friends you should be able to do that without fearing the other person. Lynette, Adam is on his show trashing you, speak up on that, don’t let him make you sound like a horrible person/mom. We know you’re a good person.

Feels like you’re hanging out with 2 friends, love their stories and overall vibes. Great show, highly recommend

Imagine being so insecure and attention seeking that you turned your entire family into lab rats… how many medications can one family need. Stef herself has said she looks for shortcuts instead of parenting thru dysmorphia, depression, adhd, and so on and so on… She’s an addict who gets off on pushing drugs on her kids. Sick. Just wait til the kids wake up and realize what she’s done.

Stef’s whole personality is her kids MANY diagnoses… and now even the new school isn’t working out? Newsflash: Stef is the problem 🤡

I really like the PC a lot and enjoy all the personal stories about your husbands and children. I always find that I can relate to your personal stories. My only complaint about the show is Stephanie talks waayyy to Much and over talks Lynette. Lynette NEVER finishes a story without Stephanie budding in and it is so annoying. Can’t understand why Stephanie can’t hold her (competitive) commentary until after Lynette is finished talking.

And that’s how she raised her children!

Stefanie. Listen when people are speaking. Your interruptions are so annoying and disrupt the flow. You are so busy formulating your reply, you aren’t listening.

Stefanie continues to show herself to be an un-American, Trump deranged hack. When the assassination attempt of DT wasn’t even mentioned in the slightest, I figured I’d be generous and chop it up to them finally steering away from politics. But of course, breaking news, let’s talk all about Biden dropping out. Disgusting. She can’t see past her political bias that a former president almost lost his life, one person tragically died, 2 were seriously injured and what a terrible act of violence that was.

Enough with the ill placed Brightspeed internet commercial! Love you both!!

They are SAHM, but have this outdated mindset that moms do everything and dads do nothing. But that is not my experience with me and my friends the dads do at least 40%. But I think it’s a generational thing. Also Lynette is not the sharpest knife in drawer and kinda self centered, and Stefani is a helicopter parent at best and living through her children. I stopped listened 4 years and check in once in a while but it is getting worst.

Stephanie complains about eeeeeverything. Her kids are going to be going to therapy their entire lives for living under the same roof as her.

I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts over the years and FCOL consistently makes me laugh and keeps me coming back. It’s one of the few that I actually listen to as soon as a new episode comes out. Keep up the great work Stefanie, Lynette, and Caelen!

Insulting at times

I give you 1 star for those incessant audible commercials…ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

Except for Julie, guest episodes are not working. Here’s how other podcasts incorporate guests successfully: they don’t change the format of their show to accommodate a guest. They just fold them in to their regular format. FCOL is not an interview format show, it’s a show where 2 women talk about their lives. But these guest episodes turn into interview shows where they try to prove how interesting/funny/entertaining this guest is (they really aren’t). Just make it a regular show where the guest contributes here or there. And please stop referring to your doctor as Dr “Knock Around” because his wife abuses him. It’s so cringe and it’s not funny. Wouldn’t be ok if their doctor was a woman, and it’s not ok when their doctor is a man.

I’ve been listening since the beginning, even though I don’t have kids. I love Teresa Strasser and wanted to check out her new pod and the rest is history. Teresa and Lynette talked about all sorts of things, not just parenting and that didn’t change when Stephanie came aboard. They are so down to earth, funny and entertaining. Love the regular podcasts as well as their Patreon episodes.
