Flyover State Science was born out of a simple goal: to humanize and raise awareness about science being done in the Midwest and science relevant to the Midwest. To achieve this goal, Jackie (a biochemist) and Kelsey (a cancer biologist) use their scientific training to translate science out of technical science jargon and make it accessible for everyone. In this podcast, we'll be covering everything from GMOs to vaccines to the science of beer to climate change. We will end every segment with a science mythbusters segment from topics submitted by listeners, friends, and family.
