Sl: Sončno soboto poleti je jezero Bled sijalo v vsej svoji lepoti.
En: On a sunny Saturday in summer, jezero Bled shone in all its beauty.

Sl: Sonce je svetilo nad modro vodo, zvonovi cerkve na Blejskem otoku pa so prinašali pomirjujoč zvok.
En: The sun illuminated the blue waters, and the bells of the church on Blejski otok brought a soothing sound.

Sl: Kavarne ob jezeru so bile polne turistov, ki so uživali v prijetnem vzdušju.
En: Cafés by the lake were full of tourists enjoying the pleasant atmosphere.

Sl: Anže je sedel na terasi kavarne in srkal kavo.
En: Anže was sitting on a café terrace, sipping coffee.

Sl: Potreboval je oddih.
En: He needed a break.

Sl: Njegov prijatelj Jure, organizator umika, ga je povabil na ta konec tedna, da bi si odpočil od stresnega dela.
En: His friend Jure, the organizer of the retreat, had invited him for this weekend to escape from stressful work.

Sl: Medtem ko je Anže užival v svoji kavi, je mimo prišla Neža.

Sl: Nekaj je bilo v njegovih očeh.
En: There was something in his eyes.

Sl: Iskal je nekaj - mir?
En: Was he searching for something—peace?

Sl: Kakšen nov smisel življenja?
En: A new meaning in life?

Sl: Neža je pozdravila Anžeta z blagim nasmehom.
En: Neža greeted Anže with a gentle smile.

Sl: "Je še kaj, kar lahko prinesem?
En: "Is there anything else I can bring?"

Sl: Anže je negotovo pogledal, nato pa se ji zahvalil.

Sl: Čutila sta, da ju nekaj povezuje.

Sl: Morda je bil to občutek, ki ga je Neža poznala od svojega otroštva, ali pa iskanje Anžeta po zaslugi in izpolnitvi.

Sl: Jure je bil vesel njegove odločitve, a ni opazil, da se je med Anžetom in Nežo prepletala neka nevidna nit.

Sl: V noči, ki je sledila, sta se Anže in Neža znašla ob jezeru.
