Sl: Ljubljana je čarobna poletna noč.
En: Ljubljana is a magical summer night.

Sl: Grad Ljubljana stoji visoko nad mestom.
En: Grad Ljubljana stands high above the city.

Sl: Sonce počasi zaide.
En: The sun sets slowly.

Sl: Ljudje se zbirajo na gradu.
En: People gather at the castle.

Sl: Na odru zaigra tradicionalna glasba.
En: Traditional music is played on stage.

Sl: Med občinstvom je Matej, tih in zadržan zgodovinar.
En: Among the audience is Matej, a quiet and reserved historian.

Sl: Ljubi zgodovino in srednjeveško arhitekturo.
En: He loves history and medieval architecture.

Sl: Raje opazuje kot govori.
En: He prefers observing over speaking.

Sl: Na odru je Tanja, mladostna in polna energije.
En: On stage is Tanja, youthful and full of energy.

Sl: Sanja o uspešni glasbeni skupini.
En: She dreams of a successful music band.

Sl: Njene melodije oživijo noč.
En: Her melodies bring the night to life.

Sl: Matej občuduje njen talent.
En: Matej admires her talent.

Sl: A misli: "Tanja je popolnoma drugačna. Kako naj pristopim?"
En: But he thinks, "Tanja is completely different. How should I approach?"

Sl: Matej čuti srce biti hitreje.
En: Matej feels his heart beat faster.

Sl: V njem je želja deliti zgodovinske zgodbe.
En: He has a desire to share historical stories.

Sl: Toda sramežljivost ga ustavi.
En: But shyness stops him.

Sl: Tanja pa po nastopu sedi ob robu odra.
En: Meanwhile, Tanja sits at the edge of the stage after her performance.

Sl: Razmišlja o svoji glasbi in prihodnosti.
En: She thinks about her music and the future.

Sl: Njene misli so zasedene, a nekaj v njej kliče po novem navdihu.
En: Her thoughts are occupied, but something in her calls for new inspiration.

Sl: Matej si reče: "Zdaj ali nikoli."
En: Matej tells himself, "Now or never."

Sl: Počasi pristopi do nje.
En: He slowly approaches her.

Sl: "Dober večer," reče tiho.
En: "Good evening," he says quietly.

Sl: Tanja se mu nasmehne.
En: Tanja smiles at him.

Sl: "Dober večer. Si užival v glasbi?"
En: "Good evening. Did you enjoy the music?"

Sl: Matej se pogumno nasmehne in prikima.
En: Matej courageously smiles and nods.

Sl: Kako naj nadaljuje?
En: How should he continue?

Sl: Odloči se povedati o gradu.
En: He decides to talk about the castle.

Sl: "Veš, ta grad ima zanimivo zgodovino," začne.
En: "You know, this castle has an interesting history," he begins.

Sl: Tanja vidi iskrico v njegovih očeh.
En: Tanja sees a spark in his eyes.

Sl: "Povej mi več," reče.
En: "Tell me more," she says.

Sl: Matej je presenečen, a tudi zadovoljen.
En: Matej is surprised, yet satisfied.

Sl: Govori o preteklih časih, viteških zgodbah in arhitekturi.
En: He talks about past times, knightly tales, and architecture.

Sl: Njene oči se razširijo.
En: Her eyes widen.

Sl: Zaveda se, da zgodovina, ki jo pripoveduje Matej, lahko obogati njeno glasbo.
En: She realizes that the history Matej tells can enrich her music.

Sl: Njegove besede ji dajejo svežo perspektivo.
En: His words give her a fresh perspective.

Sl: Nato nebo razsvetli ognjemet.
En: Then the sky lights...
