Pl: Kiedy Anna i Jakub weszli do kawiarni przy ulicy Marszałkowskiej w Warszawie, słońce pięknie świeciło.
En: When Anna and Jakub entered the cafe on Marszałkowska Street in Warsaw, the sun was shining beautifully.
Pl: Teraz siedzieli pod parasolem, ciesząc się swoimi pierogami i niespodziewanie nadchodzącym deszczem.
En: Now they sat under an umbrella, enjoying their pierogies and the unexpectedly approaching rain.
Pl: Choć byli przyjaciółmi od wielu lat, ten dzień był inny.
En: Although they had been friends for many years, this day was different.

En: They returned to the cafe, ordered a new portion of pierogies - this time to go - and hurried to Jakub's home to finish their meal.
