This is Flow with Lo' - where personal growth meets real talk, where community happens in your earbuds, where Loyiso Lo' creates space for conversations that stay with you long after the episode ends.
Today? We're talking about pruning. And Lo' is not easing you into this one.
Cutting off is hard. Full stop. Whether it's a friendship, a community, or even a version of yourself you once held onto tightly - separating from things you deeply aligned with at some point is one of the most painful things a person can do.
But it is necessary. And as a Christian, Lo' has found that Scripture doesn't shy away from this truth either - it leans right into it.
This episode is personal. Lo' opens up her own life, her own losses, her own moments of having to choose growth over comfort. The kind of stories that make you feel less alone in your own quiet struggles.
She also unpacks this word that's been following her around lately - validation - and why it means something completely different depending on who you ask.
This one has been on Lo's heart for weeks. You'll feel it.
There is no easy way through. But there is a way through.

If you have heard the story about Job in the Bible, you will expect a simple one. A story about a man who was tested to then ends by the devil, which was permitted by God, and then experienced restoration by tenfold. But there is so much more to that story. Lessons, and thoughts and ideas that are solely for you, listening to this episode. Hangout with me as I, Loyiso Lo', chat through this topic of suffering, and belief, and faith, and hope, and all the things this episode has in store for you.
It is a raw episode and has limited editing. The point is the message and I know it will resonate differently with me even when I play it back. But in a way that is necessary and God-coded.
I love you all and happy listening

Flow with Lo' - Episode: "Can I Get a Hall Pass?"
Pour your coffee. Lace up those sneakers. Buckle the kids in. Hit play.
This is Flow with Lo' - your companion for the morning commute, the workout that clears your head, the cleaning session that somehow becomes therapy. This is where personal growth meets real talk, where community happens in your earbuds, where Loyiso Lo' creates space for conversations that stay with you long after the episode ends.
Today's chat? We're diving into "Ngicela i'Visa?" - a South African show that asks a question most of us are too afraid to whisper out loud.
On the surface, it's about hall passes. About permission. About stepping outside the lines we've drawn around our lives and relationships. Your mind goes exactly where you think it goes - loyalty, cheating, the whole messy spectrum of human desire.
But here's where it gets interesting.
What if the real conversation isn't about betrayal at all? What if it's about something we rarely admit - that the person you committed to is still... a person? Full. Complex. Growing. Wanting. Not just the role they fill in your life, but an entire human being with an inner world that doesn't stop existing because they said "I do."
And yes - Lo' has thoughts. Real ones. Personal ones. The kind that come from living, not just observing. This isn't commentary from the sidelines. This is Lo' walking you through her own perspective, unfiltered and unapologetic. You might agree. You might not. But you'll respect the honesty.
This episode explores the uncomfortable space between honoring who you are and honoring what you've promised. Between seeing yourself and seeing others. Between the roles we play and the people we remain underneath them all.
We're not here to judge. We're not here to give answers. We're here to sit in the questions that make us squirm a little. The ones that make us think. The ones that remind us we're all just trying to figure this out.
So settle in. Let Lo' guide the flow. And maybe - just maybe - you'll walk away understanding something you never thought you could.
Welcome to the conversation.

Happy New Year, my people!
Season 3 is in full swing and honestly? I'm just happy to be here with you all again. This episode hits differently because it started where most of my best conversations do—with myself.
I've been out here socializing more, connecting more, and somewhere in all of that, I realized I was carrying something heavy: judgment. And not just me—we all were. The tricky part? We don't always see it. It hides behind justifications, ego, and this idea of "who we are" that keeps us from admitting what's really going on.
So in this episode, we're talking about judgment, self-awareness, and what it looks like to actually move through these patterns with the people we love. It's layered, it's honest, and it's a reminder that growth doesn't have to be perfect—it just has to keep moving forward.
Fall forward if you have to. Just keep going, my people.
Tune in and let's grow together.

My People, Episode NEW (Season 3) – A Sister Conversation to Close the Year
Season 3 is here, and I couldn't think of a better way to kick it off than with my incredible sister and visiting co-host, Ziyanda ZeeMoney!
This episode is different. We're not doing the typical year-in-review – instead, we're sitting down for one of those real, unfiltered sister conversations that flow wherever they need to go. We touch on 2025, celebrities and fame, but mostly we talk about faith, finding confidence in who you are, and all the beautiful mess in between.
If you've ever wanted to be a fly on the wall during a Mtshontshi sister heart-to-heart, this is it. It's calm, it's authentic, and it's the perfect way to wrap up the year with the people you love.
What we talk about:
Reflecting on 2025 in our own way
Celebrities and fame, my fave!
Radically trusting in yourself & building confidence
Sister wisdom, laughter, and everything in between
This one's for you, My People. I've missed you so much.
Happy New Year, Merry Holidays, and welcome to Season 3!
Sending all my love, @flowithloyiso | @loyiso_chuma
Press play and let's close out the year together.

Hello Hello and Hello My People!
A new episode is here and I've taken a new route this season. I may renege on what I've started but what is life if not for the living? That's another thing I chat about on this episode because there's been plenty of planning, stressing, over analyzing as opposed to JUST DOING, and quite frankly I'm over it. I'm also over us being unable to go out, have a great fun time with someone, and then being pressurized to act like a bestie. LOL, sign me back to before social media made us all accessible to each other.
I missed you all so much! Happy listening and REMEMBER TO TAKE YOUR VNS TO THE DMS @FLOWITHLOYISO ON INSTAGRAM.

Managing convictions, free will and holding onto God's chat about your life?Join the club, (pun intended). There are moments I battle with thoughts like 'What is the point?', 'What could really happen?', and 'Do i even care about this for real?' . It's obviously going to take you more than one conversation to stick to it. So in this episode, I bring you into my chat and personal experience around Groove and Green Pastures, truly revisiting converstions I've had with God about this. An episode about me, for you. Happy listening My People.

My People, I'm so glad you got a chance to tune in, so welcome! This episde is sticking true to one of our main pillars at Flow with Lo' and that is 'Faith" and I explore a topic that's been on my mind.
The last few weeks have been a clear call to action about embodying 'Radical Faith'. I don't truly know what it means for me in totality but I'm growing in knowledge about it and obviously had to bring you all into the conversation. We can't speak aboout faith without speaking about the fractures in my faith and their causes. A very real chat about my disappointment in the way some things have turned out under God's watch. But oddly enough, even as I was chatting to you guys it just hit me- This is the point. The point IS to have things to take to God and let Him do what is exceedingly and abundantly beyond what I can imagine.
SO I bridged the gap theoretically and sprinkle what exactly I will be getting into as an act in this direction.

Friend Fatigue is the feeling of 'what now?' or 'what next?' but with an exasperated expression. Even though our intentions can look dazzling and we represent ourselves well, it can get tiring to constantly feel like you are auditioning people and being auditioned to be in relationship. Super tiring.
SO i decided to share 4 Soft Truths about Friendship that I hope help you navigate the real root of your friendship fatigue. Instead of spending a lot of time focusing on the feeling and it's dampening elements, I take a different approach and chat about ways you can rule out the heaviness.
I love you all and Happy Listening xx

A new week, a new episode, Every Thursday 10AM EST.
Lizzo recently posted pictures of her 'defacing' her before pictures. You know...before... when she was fat. But it seems like that is an era in her life she has no interest in entertaining because she isn't anymore?
Either way, this episode is a chat about that. What do such acts do on the other side of self-expression and making a statement? What happens when you evolve into someone that does not need a particular audience ANYMORE, even though you may not have explicity asked for it. Do you leave them by the curb and spit in their faces, or a more modern way to look at it- do you publicly deface the you that empowered them? What does this say about how we handle our pasts and past selves in this life? I have the answer- a lot.
I am a Communications Strategist and I attacked this topic in this capacity AND as a conversationalist. There are many angles and opinions we can have just off of this chat and I invite you to join me in exploring what those were. And honestly, there was some revelations about me ,my mind and heart. Let's chat about it.
Send those VNs to the DMs to keep this flow going to @flowithloyiso on Instagram.
Blessings and Love to you all and Happy Listening xoxo
