One of these guys is a "weirdo" but hey, who doesn't like weird? Or cereal? Or cartoons!?!? Keep up the good work!

I love that I've never heard of some of the cartoons they talk about but based on their explanations/reactions to them, it makes me want to watch them ASAP. The strong bromance between Maverick & Jack is beyond adorable. The fact that they talk with people who they find interesting and who's company they enjoy (including each others) makes it a great listen. When I can hear the joy and excitement in their voices for what they are doing, it makes me that much more excited to keep listening.

At a time when the world faces so many existential crises... ISIS, a Trump/Cruz presidency, the regression to pro-discriminatory laws... It is nice to have a weekly podcast that puts things into perspective and adds cheerful meaning to the lives of millions. Yes, The Flannel Cakes does that and more. This and other 5 star ratings are well deserved!

Haven’t laughed that hard, cried that hard, or been that confused while listening to a podcast since I discovered I hadn’t been listening to Stitcher, but had actually plugged my headphones directly into a beehive. But seriously, these guys are great, and you should listen to them. The tangents make it.

Finally it has arrived, a podcast for the cartoon enthusiast that won't infringe upon my unhealthy ceral obsession. With both topics covered broadly I need no longer worry about only half of my interests being represented in a podcast

You know those times you sit around a bowl of cereal or pancakes after a great night of drinking and debauchery; the conversation you never thought would expound to be what it ended up being and forever becomes that inside joke that annoys the unaware, that's flannel cakes. So much better than Serial.

Always a fun hour of odd topics and jokes. Keep up the great work.

I was walking around my childhood home and noticed some black hair dye in the bathroom, and spray paint of projects long ago....when I asked my parents how it got there, my mom pointed to the fridge where jack's self portrait still hangs. It was that moment that I remembered flannel cakes was on iTunes!! so I hopped in my truck, downloaded the newest episode, and drove away-hating jack because my parents always like him more than they liked me, but still loving the flannel cakes podcast.

If you were young once, this is for you.

Cereal and cartoons?? What? Of course!!! They've gone together for children and weekend mornings for decades! Humor? What? Of course. Love the show but couldn't do five stars due to their non-unconditional love for Pro Stars. Also hoping they, what? Revisit cartoons they've already discussed.

Truly unique podcast that pokes fun of cartoons both new and old while also celebrating them. The mashup of cereal and cartoons on my podcast feed on Saturday mornings makes for a milky concoction of nostalgia. Grab your favorite cereal, some cereal sauce, and crank up your podcast streaming machine!

These people need to be counseled, but instead they give themselves a sugar high and frantically gab about cartoon nostalgia. Don't get me wrong. It's entertaining as hell. I suggest buying the same cereal as the episode, listening at home on full blast, and talking back to the hosts very loudly. You will make a great many friends. Full disclosure, I have been bribed with a pin/button to write this review. I gave a four star review because I wanted an actual monetary bribe instead. Additionally, this podcast only gets 4 stars because there need to be more celebrity guests, like Kanye West.

Adults eating cereal watching cartoons and discussing life...can't get much sweeter than that.

Really fun show. I love their exchange with each other on how ridiculous and awesome the cartoons are. It's kind of like MST3K. Plus they bring in some great guests. Check it out!

Definitely better than having my legs ripped off by a rabid badger!

This podcast is consistently the highlight of my week. Nostalgic at times, hilarious all of the time.

What a great listen. The conversation is supposed to be about that weeks cartoon and it becomes a conversation about "life and death and everything between". Another great conversational podcast.

one of my new favorite shows. fun and unpredictable. it starts with cartoons and cereal, but you never know where it's going to go. i'm hooked and into this one for the long haul. i would recommend for fans of: You Made it Weird, How Did This Get Made, and MST3K
