Have you ever woken up with a stiff neck and struggled all day due to it? Yeah, we've been there too, and although it feels pretty terrible, there is a "stiff neck syndrome" that affects us far worse than a common kink in the neck. The term "stiff necked" is used in the Bible (OT and NT) to describe a people, or oxen, that instead of living, bowing or moving in submission, reverence or response to direction, are one who hold a rigid pride and stand unwilling to bow or surrender. Psalm 

reminds us that God's way is perfect, but for some reason both historically in the Bible and today, we as people have a difficult time bowing in submission to the commands and call of God, leading us to have stiff necks toward Him, others and our purpose. We see a church that loves the least, last, lost, broken, and forgotten. We see a church that turns careers into callings, and conversations into moments where you sense the Holy Spirit. We see a church that seeks to see Jesus and allows the Creator to create with His most prized possession; us.
