Far from God, Close to You is a sermon series about the people God has placed in our everyday lives who are far from Him but close to us. Evangelism is not just a church program, a mission trip, or something reserved for people with the right personality. It is the normal life of a follower of Jesus. Every day, we live, work, eat, parent, coach, study, and sit beside people who need the hope of the gospel. Some are searching. Some are skeptical. Some are wounded. Some are running. But none of them are outside the reach of God’s grace. In this series, we will learn how to see people the way Jesus sees them, pray for them with urgency, love them with patience, speak the gospel with clarity, and invite them into life with Christ. The goal is not guilt. The goal is faithfulness. God has put us close to people who are far from Him, and He wants to use ordinary believers to make Jesus known in ordinary places. Because someone far from God may be closer than you think.
