Comparison can be a powerful tool or a hurtful weapon, depending on how we use it. Let's be honest, most of us have experienced it as a weapon of self-destruction. So, how can you utilize and avoid any negative self-talk or self-doubt? First, we need to ask ourselves if we really want what we're comparing ourselves to. If you're feeling pressured to pursue a certain goal because of comparison, but you don't genuinely want it, then it's time to let it go. Focus on what makes you happy and brings you joy, and forget about what anyone else thinks. If you don't truly want it, why are you even comparing yourself in the first place? It's time to focus on what we truly desire, rather than comparing ourselves to others. We've all been there, feeling like we're not good enough because we're comparing ourselves to someone else's achievements. It's called comparisonitis, and it's a nasty habit that we need to kick to the curb. Instead, let's celebrate the success of others and use it as inspiration to achieve our own goals. We can use comparison as a positive influence in our lives by learning from others and using their success as motivation to achieve our own greatness. Comparison can only bring you down if you let it! What you'll hear in this episode:[[[[[ Related Episodes:54. Failing Forward: Overcoming the Fear of Failure51.
