I’m happy to listen to Finding Fantasy Reads for another season. I love the sampling of authors and their short stories. Narrators do a great job, very professional. Keep up the good work!

Not only is this a fun, quick way to read short stories but it’s awesome for finding new to me authors!

These are just the right length to listen in the car for running errands (since I live 30 minutes from the nearest town). The subject matter is always interesting, and Ms. Norton consistently chooses well-written stories—a necessity for a literature teacher 😉

Love this podcast! A great alternative to listening to long books. Good for in-between books, limited time, a change of pace, or simply enjoyment. Lots of variety. The narrators do well, although not like character actor types. With these short stories, it works.

I usually only listen to audiobooks on road trips but this podcast has me wishing I had more places to drive. Bite-sized fantasy for readers on the go and kids with short attention spans. Check it out for amazing indie (self-published) fantasy short stories. Family friendly, fantastic in every sense of the word, and so much fun. Karyne Norton and Paeter Frandsen are amazing narrators!

I love to read fantasy, but I don’t often listen to podcasts or reach short stories, so I was very surprised how quickly I’ve been drawn into this Finding Fantasy Reads podcast. The short stories that Karyne picks are great and the audio recording is top notch. The best part is Im constantly discovering new fantasy authors to fuel my reading addiction 😍

I like audiobooks and I like to read fantasy, so it made sense to try this podcast. What I didn’t expect was that I would like short stories so much. But they are perfect, short, self-contained stories and it’s perfect to pull one up before I start doing chores or before I go driving and I get to hear something new. I have only listened to a few episodes so far and I have heard two old favorite authors and one new who is now a favorite, so far it looks like the selections are EXCELLENT. And the narration is very good also.

I’ve really enjoyed this podcast and keep coming back for more! I love audiobooks, and Karyne is a great narrator. I love that she’s not only introducing us to new authors but that she’s bringing their short stories alive with narration. I so appreciate her commitment to “clean” reads. I have a child with special needs and prefer to listen to PG stories when we’re in the car. I have loved the Nutcracker series Karyne has been reading. At the end of the show I can’t wait for the next one to come out. I keep sending episodes to friends. This is one of my all-time favorite podcasts!

Ok, so i just found FFR and am in love! the narration is amazing, which i appreciate so much as a fellow fantasy writer. i love the clean reads and LIVE supporting christian authors!! thank you so much for inspiring me and giving me something to listen to!

I enjoyed the high production quality of this show, and the premise is a good one. It’s unique and stands out in the marketplace, and is just bite-sized enough for people like me who have not enough time to do everything we want to. Highly recommended!

Finding Fantasy Reads offers a lovely way to find new fantasy tales by a variety of authors. I enjoyed both Karyne and Paeter’s narration styles and look forward to listening more!

I had previously read The Lily Gate by Hanna Sandvig and really enjoyed it, so when I noticed that Hanna had shared about a podcast reading, I was eager to check it out. Karyne Norton did a wonderful job narrating this cute story, and I so enjoyed experiencing it in this way! I can see myself listening to it again when I want a little slice of sweet fairy-tale romance. :) I haven’t listened to any other episodes, but I just had to share how much I appreciated this one—thank you!
