I found out about this podcast when I listened to Allison Fallon’s interview with Donald Miller, in the Business Made Simple podcast. I enjoy this podcast because it is rich with tips and useful information for people who are interested in writing, or dream in becoming a published author (like me). I like the emphasis on writing our stories to uncover our own narratives and learn more about ourselves. The interviews with other authors and writers are inspiring. Allison goes deep in the questions, and she always explains how the answer to her questions can help her audience with their own writing. Anyone who is interested in writing will benefit from listening to this podcast.

Ally’s podcasts and insights are incredibly valuable and helpful. I’ve listened to many podcasts about writing and many authors speak about writing. Ally’s work is by far the best.

Her unique undertaking is to help creative people (so all of us) push through our mental & emotional blocks to express ourselves fully and with confidence in our work and our lives. I highly recommend episodes #49 (terrific interview with Hannah Brechner) and #52 (personal story of how writing helped Ally through an emotional trauma) to get a great feel for the show and what Ally offers!

Ally exudes both authority and authenticity. Not only is she a font of vital information but she is also a brave and inspirational person. I've learned a lot from what she shares, but perhaps even more from her example. So excited for her release of her new book, The Power of Writing it Down.

I’ve always loved writing but for a long time didn't consider myself a writer. This podcast reminds me to keep writing — to keep showing up for myself because writing is truly therapeutic and healing. It encourages me to write because it’s something I enjoy but often neglect. It instills confidence in me to keep writing, no matter what happens to the words or who sees them. Love this podcast!

I have learned so much from Ally over the last four years. Her book “Indestructible” was a work of art and this podcast follows in line with her message; she encourages you to find yourself through writing and lives it. I have been followng Ally since 2014. I like that she doesn't make writing feel difficult. She encourages you to just write. My mom gave me my 1st journal when I was 15, we had made a big move and I was having a hard time processing me. She said, "write it down. let it all out. it will help you gain perspective. I turned 50 last week and although I've skipped a few seasons, I have tons of journals filled with my life story. Ally keeps encouraging me with those same words. "Write it down, let it all out, it will help you gain perspective." I am not a conference attender or workshop taker, I'm someone who loves to write and learn about writing and listen to people talk about writing while I'm driving around. This podcast is perfect. My friend Ally encouraging me in her unassuming way that no matter what I write or who I write for that I am a writer. Thanks Ally.

I have been a fan of Ally since, I don’t know maybe 2012? Anyway, I just love her! I am doing the writing prints from January, yes I am struggling to write every day, and am learning a ton about my self. I believe writing is a major component to healing yourself. I’ve followed Allison’s journey since her first book. There’s something genuine and honest about her that shines through all her work -her two published books (although in this podcast I think she mentioned that she wrote 13 books so far), her blog, her email marketing, and now her podcast. She is striving to meet people in their questioning; to come alongside them in their process and pull out the writer in us all. The best thing about Allison’s podcast and all her content, is that she isn’t some elevated, self-centered writer that is just peddling services and workshops and things you can buy. She’s truly seeking to help people, by using her talents, which is so honoring and generous. Her message that everyone is a writer is true!
