The lack of knowledge is frustrating!
Like other people who shared comments, I agree that it was pointless to talk about shows that you’ve never seen. We loved these shows and to have hosts go on about why they didn’t watch or guess at names or miss long running details is just going to turn your listeners into haters.

What is the point?
Who wants to listen to hosts who have never watched the shows try to figure out what the shows were about? Ignorance is not entertaining.

Great concept, terrible execution
This is an amazing concept. I was excited to listen to one of the episodes. And then...I find out the hosts didn’t really watch the shows they’re commenting on. Maybe I’m missing something. This could have really been great.

Good idea. Poor execution.
The concept of the podcast was a good idea. To have a “normal persons” perspective on some of the bigger series finales for hit shows, and I was hooked in. It poses the question of, “if I only watched the final episode of a show, without watching any other episode, would I be drawn in enough to go back and watch the series?”
The typical format is that they’re discussing a show the male host has seen (and typically thoroughly enjoyed by his zealous energy) and the female host hasn’t watched a single episode. They discuss an overview of the series, take a break to watch the final episode and then return to discuss what occurred, finale tropes and then if it would push the female host to watch the entire show.
Then, with the recent ep. (at this point it’s for The Good Place). This is the first show that the male host is the one who hasn’t watched the series, and the female has. The male host has negative (and elitist) reactions to the show and chooses to hit the female host with a barrage of questions and insults about the show while she is making an attempt to explain the rest of the series. She puts it well when she says when they watch a finale that the male has viewed its discussed and they move on. Whereas, when they try to discuss a show like this, she spends the majority of her time trying to defend the show and ultimately gives up mid-explanation.
It is between this episode and the large gaps between episodes that I’ll be unsubscribing.

Hate The Host
I love the concept of this podcast because I am the kind of person who will watch a few episodes of a hit show so I have an idea what is happening in the series finale. For example, I watched 10 random episodes of Breaking Bad just because I wanted to see how the show ended. The problem are hosts of this podcast. The female’s host is annoying as hell and since she “doesn’t own a tv” what is the point of her ability to speak on any tv subject. Even through the male host has decent insight his voice is just too whiny and grates on my nerves. Let me know when someone else is hosting the podcast and I might come back as a subscriber.

Awesome TV Memories
This show is so much fun. The hosts have good energy. They’ve helped me relive some of my favorite finales. Keep it up!

Lots of fun - Minor Recs
I really enjoy this podcast and think the way they approach the subject to be fun and fresh. Not sure what the people who left the negative reviews were thinking as the hosts tell you what the premise for the show is at the beginning of every episode, one has seen the show and the other hasn’t. My only recommendation would be to put a bit more of yourselves in the show. I think Ron let slip on the iFanboy's All Media roundup that they are married but I do not believe that has been addressed in Finale itself. It would be fun to hear where each of you were at in your lives/relationship while when the show that you are discussing was on. I can certainly understand if the hosts prefer to keep private information private and I still really enjoy the show, but the podcast form is more intimate and right or wrong (probably wrong) the listener does expect a bit more of the host. In the end if you understand the very basic concept of the show and that sounds like something you would enjoy I highly recommend
it.

Just a great time !
I’ve been listening to podcasts for 12 years and never wrote a review, I’m not sure what that says about me but I wanted to let everyone know how much fun this podcast is. Always nice to see a wife and a husband have a good time talking about fun subjects! A+

Fun
Listening to them explain and give their opinions about these shows are so awesome. I think there are a lot of old shows that people should review. Thanks for your podcast.

They have no business making this podcast
The hosts don’t even watch the series. No inside perspective or production info on the shows they cover. Such a letdown.

Great for TV lovers!
I love this show. If I’ve seen the series it’s a fun flashback. If I haven’t seen the show, it really makes me wanna watch it! I love that only one has seen the show, it makes the episodes on shows I haven’t seen a lot more a accessible!! Now time to watch the OC for the first time.

I GET IT
I enjoy listening for my work commute. The discussion is interesting and the concept is fresh. Not sure why people are complaining about this show. The description is VERY CLEAR. Sure they don't cover every single show you might want but that isn't something to criticize.
Now I'd like to plug my own Show suggestion: Dexter

Fun idea
I love the chemistry between the hosts. They clearly love being together. I think the idea of the show is unique. I have only seen some of these shows, so hearing from someone who has and has not seen it actually helps balance whether it’s a show I want to see. Ron and I are so alike, it’s scary, so I always love hearing what he has to say. Keep it up!

It’s a MUST LISTEN!
I love talking about how show end. This is a perfect concept for a podcast! I loved listening to Ron on iFanboy, and now love hearing him and Carrie discuss interesting final episodes of iconic series. I hope the show picks ROME, ALF, Carnivale, and My Name is Earl in the future.

Pointless
Just not sure what the point of a show is if you are discussing finale episodes of shows you have never watched and really have no interest in watching. Is this like a podcast you’re doing to practice for a podcast you actually want to do? Then just do us a favor and do the podcast you actually want to do. Or find a cohost who has seen the shows. Or pick shows you have both seen! The show in its current iteration is a missed opportunity.

Great premise, wrong hosts for show
What is the point of discussing a show’s finale if both hosts haven’t seen the show? One person is speaking authoritatively and the other is going, “Well it seems like this show was about xyz” and the conversation flows poorly. This show should be reimagined with two people who have actually BOTH watched the shows they’re talking about. Cancel this crap until you find two people who have watched the same shows!!!

Great podcast
Great podcast excited for more episodes of shoes I have watched myself

Poor hosts good concept
The hosts don’t have a clue what they are talking about, at one point she says “I don’t watch a lot of tv” why are you doing this podcast then? The concept is good but it’s useless with these two.

Shaking my head the whole time.
Obviously as someone who’s favorite show is Gilmore Girls, that episode was terrible. If you’re going to share your opinion on a show I feel like you should watch the whole thing. And if you don’t like it enough to watch it all then don’t try to analyze it.

Great podcast
The idea of one person never having seen the show is interesting. It would be fun if every once in a while the rolls were reversed.
Also I think a good follow up to this would be them watching the Pilot after to see the Finale to see how the show changed/didn’t and based on those 2 episodes does it make them want to see more.

Don't bother
I honestly have no idea why they would have someone reviewing finales WHO HAS NEVER WATCHED AN EPISODE. This makes no sense at all. You miss about 99% of the meaning of it all when you have never watched an episode, except the finale. A total waste. I had to give one star to post, however i would rate it 0 stars.

Too Funny
I love the premise of this show. I love that one person has never watched a single episode and the other watched every episode. Makes the contrast great! THANKS.

Failed concept
This would only work if the commenters had both seen each series. What is the point of explaining a finale if you don’t understand what led up to that point? Fans of shows will resent listening to a critic who has no idea. New potential fans will get no insight at all. Please stop and figure out what your goals are with this podcast.

Please watch the show before doing a podcast on its finale
I wish that the people talking about the finale of Boardwalk Empire had both seen the show in full. The episode was so focused on what someone didn’t know that we weren’t able to hear all of the amazing things that episode actually accomplished structurally, technically, or emotionally. I wanted to hear and interesting conversations about the finale- not about what one of the hosts missed becuase they were never invested in watching the show to begin with.
