This is a letter to my mama. As a child, I would write letters to get her to "hear" me. Having a conversation was never a conversation. I want her to hear how she built me to become The MILF Hour, without any intention of doing so.

Since I was a young Black girl, I have had a thirst to find my legacy, the story of my people. This episode talks about some of the experiences that have been pivotal to the development to my ideas and dreams. I want to reclaim my motherland, who else is on this mission with me?

This episode we have a special guest, my baby sister, Tara Murphy. She came to join me so that you all will be able to hear what it was like growing up with our mother from both of our points of view.  Do we share the same outlook on our upbringing? How did we end up different while living under the same roof? Did our mother treat us the same? Tune in to find out.

Making  the proclamation of being fearless, put me into labor. After a year of breathing through contractions or trials, I feel as though I have come to the other side; standing firmly in the role designed divinely for only me.

This episode is to discuss the importance of having a village for the betterment of MILFs. We  need our elders or family in general to be more present and active in our lives. With a village mamas are able to have the time and energy to take care of their homes with their mental health in tact.

The episode is to focus on the many grievances that society holds against mothers and the power we hold within our sexuality.

In today's world, mothers are the sacrificial lambs of our society. We are served on a platter for people to judge, convict, shame, and demean our titles. This podcast is to express how this effects us and how changes can be made to aid in the uplifting of our MILFs.

We are embarking on a journey that includes extreme vulnerability, and we are the ones responsible for our own protection.

This is the foundation episode for the MILF hour. It is so that the listeners are able to have an understanding of what to expect from MILF.
