Fear & Foolery Podcast
Seth Kasamis and Zack Clark
This is a podcast about conversation. Join us as we talk about topics that matter for our life, your life, and the lives of those around us all. It's just two dudes that value nothing but seeking the King, Jesus, and doing what he asks of us. We are not impressive. We are not, so called, experts. We try our best to not concern ourselves with cares of this world or with things too great or too marvelous. The idea is simple: Fear the one true God who is the beginning of knowledge. It is the fool that will despise wisdom and correction. Agree or disagree...come listen and join in.
Episode 7 - Spiritual Things
Jesus himself said that it was better for him to leave so that he could send the Holy Spirit to guide and empower his followers. What did he mean? Does the modern church understand, make assumptions, or worse?

Episode 6 - The Crowds that Follow
Seth and Zack discuss John 6 in the Bible, where Jesus refers to himself as the bread of life. Is Jesus the only one who can satisfy our deepest desires? What did the crowds that followed him think? They also chat about the importance of critical thinking and seeking truth for ourselves rather than blindly following others. Does what you are seeking actually satisfy you? Or, could following Jesus be the answer to your longing for fulfillment?

Episode 5 - Enemies to Our Soul
What's the greatest enemy to your soul? Is it oneself? Could it be money as is so often warned about in the Bible? Seth and Zack ask themselves this question on episode 5 of the Fear & Foolery Podcast. The pursuit of wealth, the desire for material possessions, and placing our security and trust in our finances rather than in God is wear this conversation settles in.

Episode 1 - Seek and Defy
How did early followers of Jesus seek and defy? How do we do the same now? Episode 1 of the Fear & Foolery Podcast is about just that...seeking and defying today. Seth and Zack look at the scriptures in Acts 17 where they discuss Paul preaching the gospel in Thessalonica and how he was perceived as defying the decrees of Caesar by proclaiming Jesus as another king. They then discussed how this relates to modern times and how Christians today may defy the decrees of culture in a similar way. Then, in Jeremiah 29, they discuss how the Israelites were in exile in Babylon. While there, God tells them to seek the welfare of the city and make it their home while they wait for him. How can this be done in Spokane or wherever you find yourself in the world today following the risen King Jesus?
