On Episode 9 of Fascinating Folks we share life tidbits with Scott! Scott is fascinatingly quirky and a gentleman of many interests and skills. He is currently the head of aquatics at a community favorite of the YMCA and a lifeguard there too. We get to hear about his family and heritage in the interview. Scott’s father is from Bolivia and we hear the sweet story of how his mother and father met, we travel down Scott’s love of theatre and storytelling including the very movie he wrote, as well as how he keeps so strong and focused! Scott follows the Lord and struts stylishly down the city sidewalks as he does all of these things. If you know Scott, you know you have an authentic friend in him. On Episode 8 of Fascinating Folks we mingle with Matt, Kristie and Emma. The Smith family is wonderful. They have been a support to me in the short time I have known them and by the way they live their lives, you can tell they want to help others. On the podcast this week, we learn about the backstories of this theatre owning family and how Kristie’s business running and Matt’s creative music loving both came together. We get to hear about the super short engagement process of the two who were meant to be and about their beautiful family and faith. On Episode 7 of Fascinating Folks we get to lay back and talk to my lifelong friend Leah! Leah has so much kindness to share and remains down to Earth through everything life presents her. From being a band kid and playing her oboe to joining flag line, to getting two black belts, to graduating with a criminal justice degree, she has lived so much for being so young. Leah is on her way to being a Mrs., which is so exciting just like her new job helping women and fighting back against human trafficking. Leah has gotten to travel a little in her life so we get to hear about why she particularly loves Austria. She also found herself taking the bus rather often when she was an exchange student for a little while. She has a love for God and that is shown in her life. Today we get to have some conversation with my two intelligent co-workers, Ethan and Everett! These two gentlemen are totally "stellar" which makes sense because they work in a planetarium! Today we learn a little about them through a fun little discussion of who prefers the state of Ohio or the state of Florida. We also hear a little history debate between the two, and learn more about Ethan's love of scuba diving. Everett discusses how see sees God in everyday life coinciding with his interest in science. The three of us definitely have our differences, but as Ethan shares, we can still have friendship despite our differences. We also have surprise visit from a special guest, a fellow planetarium presenter, John! Amy is one of my adorable and spunky friends. On the podcast, you will learn about Amy's courage to go after what she feels called to, to try new things and trust the Lord. Amy is a storyteller. Chris is a one and only of his comedic kind! I have been thankful to know him for several years now in the life of good ole fashioned show business. He has not only helped me look at things through a new perspective, but helped others through his charitable givings through time. Chris talks to us about running his comedy club, Krackpots Comedy, we hear about his database of comedians and how comedians prepare, the way he lives his colorful and faith filled life and shares with us one funny joke!

Sue is a selfless and loyal sweetheart who I am grateful to learn from, laugh with and call a friend. She is dedicated to her family and friends and most beautifully to our Lord. She is a vibrant personality. Sue is also an artist who has somewhat recently painted a large collection of scenes inspired by life. So let’s unpack her box of stories and travel through her childhood, her stories of living through the 1960s, learn about a broken down bus situation on her way to Novia Scotia and more.
