Well, other than the obvious play on words, the definition of prose is the "ordinary language people use in speaking or writing."  Essentially, we're just having a conversation about sports and whatever is relevant in the sports world on any given day.  Nothing fancy here, no extended pinkies or ivory towers, just regular guys talking about sports as they would around the office water cooler, at their local sports bar, or in the comfort of their own home.
