The starter of the show needs to come up with something different than birdie buddies…etc and so on they have good insight but the show gives off the vibe as childish and immature

The amount of ads within one episode is outrageous. The first 4 and a half minutes of a 50 minute episode being ads? Sheesh

Show was great tell Hubbard got political. Too bad.

Usually a solid combo of things golf fans care about from picks to bets, tour news to tournament analysis. In the LIV era though… it’s gotten a little rough. There are moments the hosts will acknowledge the predicament of a competing tour, mostly because watching all the best players on the same course won’t happen as often (aside from the human rights issues, which they also acknowledge). With that said, there are too many snarky remarks about 40 some odd players, 30 of which are in the top 100 in the world currently, 18 of which have Ryder/President’s cup experience, and have won 22 majors in the past two decades being dismissed as washed up, or irrelevant, or journeyman… welcome to 96% of the PGA Tour. We need good golf and they want it. Let’s talk solutions and stop acting like LIV doesn’t matter. Solid pod. More good pro golf!!!

The golf pod world is in need of a standout podcast. All the golf pods are either ran by boring and/or pretentious golf journalists, or frat bros. FR is the best option for someone like me who appreciates solid golf knowledge but needs entertaining personalities to keep me hooked. House and Hub do enough on all ends to make FR the best golf pod out there.

As a veritable Joe House Truther, been a fan of this pod since its inception. Personally liked Shack but can understand why the ratings weren’t so high (can see his cynicism rubbing people the wrong way). Can’t imagine a criticism of the pod as it’s currently constituted. Hub brings sharp knowledge but with the verve of fandom. Love it love it love it. Birdie buds let’s gooooooooo.

Either have two shows during the week or come on sooner! By the time you put your content live on Wednesday, no one wants to hear 30 minutes on Sunday’s finish! All your competitors have already beaten you to the punch! Mayo does his ON SUNDAY NIGHT! And your timing also makes the upcoming tournament preview less meaningful. House states lines that are no longer available at all! The preview comes one day before a tournament often which leaves little time to prepare. There is no value provided by these hosts! I suggest two shows a week— Sunday night and Tuesday night. One reaction and a quick look ahead, and then an upcoming tournament preview on Tuesday. Be structured, give better information!

If Hubbard can’t be bothered to know the location of a PGA stop. Iowa, Iowa ,Iowa jettison him. Deere is in Illinois. Take betting/fantasy advise with this level of commitment to detail is ignoring a bridge out sign. House is a star.

JT, Spieth, DJ…. TALK ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE- you only focus on the top players- “and it’s always their week to win” - you offer zero real golf insight or more importantly ZERO GAMBLING INSIGHT- you are classic prisoner of the moments who have mega blinders for your 4-5 major guys- entertaining maybe, actionable intelligence zero. Stop talking about JT and Spieth

Tried this pod for a few months. Initially, it seemed different, but good, like the first season of Parenthood. As time went on, it was mostly just war stories about how they missed on bets, a host of complaints about golf course set ups, and the occasional defense of Jon Rahm. But hey, at least Simmons lets the only two non-Alabama fans on earth who cheer for Justin Thomas host a podcast. The final straw was the PGA Championship pod. Kiawah was awesome, and the respect and shouts for the course were so well earned. But Phil Mickelson winning the PGA at 50 is basically second only to Leicester City winning the Premier League in astonishing sports events to occur this century and these jokers talked about Mickelson for 5 minutes and then pivoted for a rudderless chat about Brooks Koepka being tired, Rory no showing, Justin Thomas’s Twitter account (seriously who actually likes that guy enough to care what that dork thinks) and backdoor top 10 finishers. If Tiger had won, this would have been a Gone with the Wind length super pod with 3 hours of Tiger worship. That would be good by the way. This show- which featured a total of 9 minutes of Mickelson content, was 2004-05 Josh Childress Atlanta Hawks bad. Truly.

This is my go to for the weekend recap. Quick question, though. When did Nate start sounding like Tim Kirkjan? Has he always or is it just the Rickie Fowler podcast?

Love this pod. Joe is f’n hilarious and both he and Nathan are knowledgeable of the field each week. Love the recaps and inside the ropes info. Most importantly....and by far, the best intro music to any podcast out there. It’s groovy and I freakin love it.

Please don't have Bill Simmons on your podcast. He adds nothing, there are better people you can have as guests. Why him?

Thank the golf gods the people on the pod changed this year. I listened in 2018 and it was good, 2019 sucked horribly, and this year was the best year. Keep it up, keep Hubbard and the sharps coming in, get some more golfer interviews, and 2021 will be even better. No need for women updating us on social media, that made me stop listening in ‘19.

I cannot stand Nathan Hubbard, he says so many things that make me cringe. From hating on JT for his celebration after making that 60 foot bomb at memorial to Debbie downer Tiger comments. House deserves 17/5 stars and the guests they bring on are top notch, just think they need a new cohost.

Love Joe and Hubs and all the guests. Format is great. Wish I could count on when (sometimes if) it’s going to drop.

Nathan Hubbard is fantastic. He’s insightful and on point with his commentary. Joe House, while I like his enthusiasm, is awful with his stammering and pauses. I hope Bill Simmons can find another host for this show, b/c Hubbard is worth listening to every week.

Updated: y’all actually listened.. thanks for putting the last couple pods out earlier.. Ya gotta come out with your episode sooner.. dropping it 12 hours before the tournament starts, our bets are already in, lineups are already set, and we basically have no reason to listen

House and Verno ... and the unpaid intern. This should be your full time job. Whatever else you’re doing is a waste of time. You should be onsite every tourney playing the pro-ams and then getting interviews and content. Hosting a golf gambling pod is a dream job for millions. Don’t mess this up. I’m available as needed.

Great content & very entertaining but often comes out to late Wednesday to act on the recommendation

Good podcast, but feel compelled to say that they are very inconsistent with episodes. Look forward to it but it’s been upsetting as there just has been very little content in the past 6 months. Starting to lose me as a listener.

I listen to almost every Ringer pod and play a ton of golf, so it’s a bummer that this show is unlistenable.

Listen to a lot of podcasts. Never review but felt compelled. This podcast needs a review cause people who listen don’t go out of their way to review or rate. Golf listeners ... drop a review! House talking golf = pretty, pretty, pretty ... good!

It’s just boring. Houses’ “drunk frat guy all grown up but not fully” act gets super tired without Shacks serious golf talk. I tried, guys. I really tried.

If you want to bet on golf, Joe House has you covered. House is getting much better at hosting a podcast and his guests are getting more comfortable with his slightly-hyper manner. Always an enjoyable listen.

Bill Simmons ruined this podcast

This podcast used to have a real purpose and brought tremendous knowledge to its listeners. House is a great 2nd fiddle, but now the pod lacks identity and is trivial.

This podcast has been ruined with Shackleford’s departure and the inclusion of Schuster. It makes no sense. I know no one that cares about her subject. I figure she was included as part of Simmons’ efforts to be “woke”. I expect it from ESPN. This podcast can be listened for about 20 minutes & about every third guest.

Without Shack, this podcast is no longer a must listen. The guests that House brings on don’t seem to know much about golf, and the “Social” segment is cringeworthy. Shack and House made for my favorite golf podcast.

I really miss the dynamic that Shack and House created. Shack brought solid information and inside knowledge while House gave us the reactions of the everyday golf nut. Now it just seems like there is no back bone to the show. It’s too bad because I use to look forward to this podcast regularly.

I miss Shackleford. He was knowledgable and made a genuine contribution to the former podcast. I am tired of having to stop the podcast to fast forward past Shuster's segments. Stick to your core competency. I play 25 rounds a year and gamble on every major. If I am your target demo drop Shuster. Without Shack it is weak sauce.

House is great but his guests who make the picks are pretty horrendous. They had a guy who picked Tiger to miss the Masters cut (sac religious) and another loser who consistently picks Harold Varner and Luke List. Cmon House. Do better

I can’t figure out an appropriate volume to listen at. It’s borderline painful. Without Shack I’m not sure this is worth your time..

The podcast without Geoff Shackleford is no where close to as good. It’s disappointing that they broke it up, because they were a good combination. It’s unlistenable now and I have unsubscribed.
