MY FIRST GUEST IN SO LONG! I met Amber thanks to a Facebook friend when I announced my own diagnosis. We quickly connected and I learned her story is UN-BE-LEIVE-ABLE... Before they go, I wanted to give one last goodbye to my boobs and reflect on the 15 years I got to have them. It's been quite the journey and it's ending FAR too soon. But I'm ok. I will be ok. This is a big step in my cancer journey... on January 12, 2022 I will sacrifice my natural boobs for an (almost) guarantee to be cancer free. I'm having a bilateral mastectomy which will remove both of my boobs, rid me of cancer and they'll be replaced with implants.  I am scared and sad and anxious... for the pain, for my nipples (will I get to keep them!?) and what the future holds.
