Concise
I’m a practicing optometrist and listen daily on the way to clinic. Useful reviews on many conditions, especially less common ones, and I enjoy that these are often accompanied by up to date literature reviews and clinical experiences. It’s like an audio Wills Eye Manual, with hilarious hosts. I also enjoy the random guest topics. I recommend this show all the time to colleagues. You guys are helping eye doctors everywhere, please continue a long time. Thank you!

Spectacular Review of Ophthalmology!
Erudite, focused, high information content. The speakers are intelligent, well informed, unpretentious, entertaining and have a good sense of humor. I have practiced Oculoplastic Surgery for over 30 years and am grandfathered out of retaking the boards. I am listening to these because they are fun, interesting and bring back and update hardwired Ophthalmology information from my resident days. A+

Very cool
Very cool podcast reviewing high yield ophthalmology. Particularly useful for written board and OKAP prep. Have listened to many episodes multiple times.

Amazing ophtho podcast
This is a hilarious, informative podcast that is a fun way to learn and review ophthalmology for med students and trainees. Ben and his colleagues provide knowledgeable insight into textbook material as well as some valuable clinical tips and tricks. I also love that they bring in ophthalmologists and ideas from a diverse set of backgrounds.

Great Podcast for those interested in eyes
Really enjoyable podcast. As a lay person, I’ve learned a lot. Would love to have aniseikonia covered some day! There isn’t much about it on the internet.

Good source for patients
I’ve had pediatric uveitis and recently learned that I have retinal vasculitis. As a patient with no medical education or training, I’m finding this podcast very useful to better understand my own condition and to build a shared vocabulary with my ophthalmologist. 1) Could you please do a podcast on retinal vasculitis? 2) The first time you mention a new term, could you please state the full name and not just the acronym even if it’s obvious to medical students? Keep up the great work!

I’m a first year
Loved the pontificating and literature review that Andrew did in the Hyphema episode. Impressed that you guys keep doing this beyond residency training, thank you so much! The hyphema episode was what me write this review. “basically your eyes ar really just little balloons of acid” love it. There have been times trying to read or do questions, that I whip out this podcast to see what others are doing, and I’m so relieved to hear that this is all so new. I hope you guys find ways to keep doing this or find a new team of residents to take over when you guys finish. The descriptions and analogies help the info stick. I’m always going to remember milkshakes vs balloons of acid for hyphemas and sickle cell.

Genius way to study
Ben and Andrew make studying for OKAPs painless and fun! I listen while I do my morning routine, drive to work, cook, etc and learn by diffusion. Listening to these two is so much more effective than slogging through BCSC. Keep the episodes coming!!
