I like how this show has balanced perspectives and views. There are some guest members that I don't fully agree with everything that they share and there are some that it would've been a terrible day for me if I didn't hear what they had to share that day. I love that the show is about actual real life situations that people go through and opening the door for resolution and change in peoples lives. This podcast was very helpful while I was going through a divorce a few years ago as well.

Terrific takes on Black masculinity, I appreciate the intentionality that goes into the topics and guest speakers. Can heal a generation with the information shared!

This podcast is definitely needed for the culture! It heals, it teaches, it’s transparent, it’s refreshing! Definitely a fan !

I’ve tuned into at least 20 episodes and they have all been very informative. This episode in particular goes very deep into what it is that we as Black men need from others and need to do for ourselves. I want to start having conversations like these with the young Black men I work with in my community.

I listen to Express Yourself Black Man as a single mom raising a Black boy, and as a Black woman who still believes in love and marriage with a Black man. This podcast has been such a meaningful space to listen, learn, and better understand the experiences, emotions, and perspectives of Black men. It’s refreshing, honest, and necessary. I truly believe this is a great place for Black women who want to grow in how we support our Black men. Keep up the great work.

I am so grateful for this podcast. This is my first introduction to Professor Odi and I’m always inspired and in search of solid healthy Black men in Psychology to help lead our generation into a better expression of Manhood and Masculinity. This episode was healing as well as insightful and really helped create a space to start having the conversation about how us as black men can start to nurture ourselves and those around us and release the stigmas that shame us into blind submission under patriarchy. A system inherently designed AGAINST US as black men !!!!!! Thank you so much for this talk ! Very much needed PLEASE KEEP GOING BROTHERS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoyed the videos the purity is a blessing to see in evolving souls 🥰 I watch podcast involving male figures because I can view a males perspective and can lead when necessary and follow when needed.

This is the first Black Men focused podcast I’ve seen and it’s crazy how much I have already found that I relate to. Sometimes we forget that we aren’t the only people that go through these issues and this podcast made me realize that a lot of us are having very common experiences and struggles.

This podcast has been a real blessing for me. As a Black man, it’s not always easy to find spaces where our mental health is taken seriously and spoken about with honesty, care, and understanding. Express Yourself Black Man feels like a safe and supportive space where I can reflect, learn, and grow. The conversations are thoughtful, insightful, and relatable—things I didn’t even know I needed to hear sometimes. I appreciate how the host creates room for vulnerability while also giving practical tools for healing and self-awareness. Thank you for the work you’re doing—it’s making a real difference in my journey and I know I’m not the only one who feels that way.

Man, this was just what I needed. I honestly thought it was just gonna be about his proposal which is incredible and a huge accomplishment in the relationship. But the words that he spoke for the remaining of the podcast home for me and he’s very encouraging what I’m going through right now. As a man! I do believe God led me so that specific episode having just ended a relationship. Peace and blessings to you all for creating this podcast!!!

Episode 124 was the first episode that I watched and I never resonated with a conversation more. I saw a lot of myself in the guest and have and currently experiencing a lot of the same things. Grateful for this platform and these conversations.

I have followed on Instagram for a while but I’ve never been a podcast guy. But MAN!!!! I’ve gotten so much value, currently listening to stress at work! I am an elementary educator and this is speaking to me!!

Loved listening to this, Kira dropped gems. Here’s some feedback from an avid listener maybe it’s a Young or NY thing but I just wish the N word wasn’t used so frequently in this episode. I cringed a little just thinking how this episode is about how black men and black women can support each other but the N word is the expression used in some instances. I understand it’s in context but if it were a man using the B word, the message may not be received the same. I wish we could be more gracious descriptions such as YN or dude or brotha. It’s all love you noted that. 💛

I have so much admiration for the work you do. Thank you for guiding and grounding folks. Thank you for not being click bait, for not hating women, and for clearly just loving people and wanting the best for them!

This podcast and the episodes are something that people of color especially men. This is a healing process, and we all should communicate, comprehend and learn how to deal with each other in a healthy way!

Authentic episode that hits at the core of conversations about the complexities of dating and promotes thought provoking dialogue and reflection. aka “let’s get comfortable about being uncomfortable “ in understanding ourselves and others while using it jumping board to spring forward!
