Excellent analysis, exceptional design
Brian is bringing it home with this podcast. I initially found the show as a result of my interests in UX design and data analytics. The podcast on UI/UX with LLMs is spot on. Highly recommended.

Time well spent
I met Brian a year ago at a CDO workgroup meeting and was immediately taken with his thinking around how to best leverage data and communicate actionable insights.

Only listen if you actually want people to use your data products
I can not stress enough how useful this podcast is. Every episode, every interview, helps illuminate ways to ensure our users are delighted at both our data insights and the ease of getting to those insights. I especially appreciate how this podcast tackles thorny challenges like how to define success metrics for data products and what sorts of environments help data folks thrive. These are discussions we need to be having!

Great podcast!
In my current company and my prior company (both earlier stage healthcare startups), I often feel like I’m on an island. But, every time I listen to Experiencing Data, I feel so uplifted, gaining new perspectives and validation in some of the challenges I experience in my day to day work.

Insightful and pragmatic
Love the down to earth approach - the introspective review of current patterns and practices - and the diversity of guests, topics, and points of view. Bottom line, putting together a podcast that’s as valuable as it is enjoyable is anything but easy. Thanks Brian (:

Excellent podcast
Data product failures so often represent a lack of true understanding the users and their need. When so much of the conversation in data is about the technology, I really appreciate that this podcast starts from the users and provides lessons and tools to insure they stay at the center of what we’re building. I’ve learned a lot from Experiencing Data.

An Oasis of Design for Analytics
HCD paired with Analytics is something I’ve thought about for a while. It still feels like not enough people really embrace it. Stumbling upon this podcast was like finding a little oasis of hope. Well done!

Insights in how to think about analytics projects
Many of the blog posts, podcasts, etc. are focused on the technical "how" behind analytics and visualization (e.g. which library or tool to use, streaming or batch). This podcast focuses more on the critical link between the business strategy, user experience and use case for analytics projects and the technical underpinnings. For anyone looking at making their data products more successful, these discussions are tremendously valuable.
