I’m an audio learner, so when a sister in Christ recommended this podcast, I was over the moon. I’ve made it part of my daily routine; furthermore, when I found out it was going to end at the end of the year, I quickly went out and downloaded every episode as I want it to continue to be part of my daily routine going forward. “ Pulverizing Your Idols - Seeing sin as God sees it” was really impactful, and I highly recommend the listen.

Kris has an eloquence in the way he presents that makes him easy to listen to and understand. His message usually contains a challenge of self reflection followed by practical applications that I can start instilling in my spiritual walk immediately. There is always something that I can improve upon and his podcast helps me find those needed areas. I love that the standard used for reflection and improvement is always based on God’s expectations.

I found Excel Still More when I was in a bad place mentally and in my walk with God. I started listening to it when I cleaned and it would keep my mind busy, and focused on God. I have learned a lot about myself and God from listening to these episodes. I have been listening to them in order and I am so close to being current. Now I will listen to them when I clean or workout. I have purchased a couple of the books Kris has mentioned for myself or for others. I pray that God continues to bless Kris with the ideas for these episodes and to continue to share the word.

Kris motivates me to do better & he gives me recipes to assist me in that endeavor. His sincerity is inspiring, he wants his listeners to live fully for God! I tend to put off tough stuff but after the Eat the Frog episode I have tried to switch things around. Thanks for inspiring me to walk closer to God!

I don’t know how to leave a comment about an individual episode so I’ll leave it here. Images of Jesus - I have been thinking about this a long time. Ever since my wife and I went to Italy. Every painting we saw if Jesus was either on the cross or as a baby with Mary. They all portrayed what seemed to me to be a weak Jesus. No resurrection pairings and nothing that portrayed power and royalty. There are a lot of pairings, 1000s upon 1000s. This struck me of how I might view Jesus. Your episode on this helped me create that balance in my mind. Thank you.

This is a great podcast that can be listened to in a short period of time with long term impacts that have helped me with my walk with God. Can’t recommend this podcast more.

God has been very patient with me. He has tried for 67 years to draw me to him. Now that I am finally listening, He has blessed me with the Excel Still More podcasts. I am so thirsty for more, and Kris Emerson helps to fill that void by bringing up intriguing points that drive me happily to the Word to learn. I have yet to hear a podcast that didn’t strengthen me! It brought my focus back, strengthened my faith and encourages me to do better everyday. I no longer avoid the “frogs” I actually like them up and eat them one by one. Even my 11 year old said “mommy I ate a frog today.” I recommend Excel Still More to so many people and I always get a text back saying how much they love it and/or they are reading books mentioned in the episodes. I reviewed this podcast earlier with the highest of praise, and I don’t think it should all be wiped away because Kris shares a lot of really good things. He clearly cares for others. However, I am more hesitant to recommend due to occasional stories/comments that come off as condescending or elitist. I could be judging unfairly- and I do think Kris cares and means well, and at the same time, for my purposes of sharing the podcast to help me spark spiritual conversations, this has become difficult for me to use as a tool for that.

Truly, this podcast produces results in my thinking, my habits and my walk as a Christian. Kris has a smooth delivery, and he is easily understood. It’s so easy to let his words sink in.... he uses Bible principles, but with common sense for our everyday living!!!! I have thoroughly gotten something out of every single podcast! Paula Douglas

This podcast is becoming increasingly more helpful to me as I work through all of the episodes and have begun to use the daily ESM journal. I would describe myself as a “jack of all trades, master of none.” This has made it difficult for me to effectively serve the Lord to the best of my abilities because I’m constantly pulled in too many directions. This podcast is helping bring clarity to where my talents are best used and learning to balance a busy schedule parenting two young children but still trying to utilize the gifts God has given me. It is helping me learn to say “no” to things that my time shouldn’t be spent on (and many times those things are very GOOD things, but still need to be said “no” to). Thank you Kris! Keep it coming!
