66. Clark County Sheriff's Office Protects ICE from Community Scrutiny & the Clark County Council's Useless Immigration Statement
Karissa discusses a recent incident involving 3 Clark County women who observed and confronted ICE agents in our community and were threatened by the Clark County Sheriff's Office for felony stalking, as well as the Clark County Council's most recent discussion about their statement on federal immigration enforcement. She then explores where we might go from here.

65. ICE and ICE Collaborators OUT of Clark County!
Karissa platforms the testimony of the people of Clark County speaking out about ICE and about the Clark County Council's complicity in allowing the FBI (who are full-blown ICE collaborators, with one quarter of the FBI assisting ICE with operations, protecting immigrant detention facilities, violating protesters' civil liberties on the ground, covering up for the crimes committed by ICE, targeting activists as domestic terrorists via the NSPM-7 directive, and more) continued use of our public conservation property, Camp Bonneville, on January 28th. We then hear the Council's discussion, some analysis, and talk next steps. Right now, we must continue to flood the Clark County Council with the reporting showing clearly that the FBI IS doing federal immigration policy. You could also share any reporting of other outrageous activities the FBI is involved in, such as its complicity in the Epstein file cover-up to protect pedophiles (redacting the names of powerful people while not redacting the names of victims, for example) the FBI's seizure of voting records from an election center in Fulton County, Georgia, anything more on the NSPM-7 directive, etc. Email: [email protected] [email protected] You can always CC [email protected] and [email protected] to ensure they are also getting the latest reporting on the FBI working as a blatant arm of fascism, even though they already oppose the FBI's use of Camp Bonneville. Follow Everything is Fine in SWWA on IG and FB for updates on opportunities to act on this issue and mark your calendars for February 17th at 6pm where there will be open public comment at the Clark County Council.

64. Camp Bonneville, Part 5: FBI Full Operational Support for ICE and the NSPM-7 Directive
Karissa challenges Clark County Councilor Glen Yung’s statement to a constituent regarding his flip-flop vote on supporting the FBI’s continued illegal use of Clark County’s nearly 4,000 acre, mostly forested conservation property, Camp Bonneville---including his belief that the FBI should not be “conflated” with ICE. Reporting over the last few months demonstrates unequivocally that the FBI is supporting ICE. They have, in fact, been directed to provide full operational support for ICE, including embedding themselves into ICE missions. Furthermore, the Portland Bureau of the FBI (who trains at Camp Bonneville) has been involved in the protests of the ICE facility in Portland where people's civil liberties have been violated. On top of this, the FBI has been directed via NSPM-7 to create a "domestic terrorism" list targeting immigration advocates, anti-capitalists, "anti-Americanism", and "anti-Christianity"---targeting essentially anyone to the left of Donald Trump. Given the latest news about Renee Nicole Good (that the FBI will not be investigating her murder but has now opened an inquiry into her connection to activist groups) and other reporting, there is no denying that the FBI is hard at work carrying out the NSPM-7 directive. Karissa breaks this all down and more---and comes with the receipts. Do you feel comfortable with our Clark County Council voluntarily enabling a federal agency that is currently covering up for rich and powerful pedophiles as it drops balls left and right, wastes our resources hunting an Antifa boogeyman, and hunts us while assisting ICE in its deadly and lawless endeavors? The FBI’s use of Camp Bonneville is merely a favor that Clark County has been doing for the FBI for decades. It’s our property, we have no obligation to support them, and we don’t even have a contract with the FBI---YET. We have the opportunity to materially oppose the Trump administration right here in Clark County, to strike a blow to this clan of federal agency thugs terrorizing, assaulting, and murdering people in our streets. If enough people show up to a council meeting to inform and to pressure our representatives on this, WE WILL WIN. It is literally just a matter of whether listeners will take this information, run with it, and get to organizing. At 6pm on Tuesday, January 20th, you can speak for up to 3 minutes (in person, virtually, or over the phone) in opposition to the FBI’s continued use of Camp Bonneville on the basis of ICE collaboration and the NSPM-7 directive at Open Public Comment to the Clark County Council. The next day, January 21st, at 1pm, you can do the same by speaking to the Camp Bonneville agenda item. You can also SHOW UP to support the speakers by bringing a small sign that says “FBI are ICE collaborators,” “Feds out of our forests,” or another similar sentiment. 63. Camp Bonneville, Part 4: Integrity, Openness, and Accountability
Karissa breaks down the last year or so of shenanigans re: Camp Bonneville by various actors in Clark County government and law enforcement, as well as the state of the cleanup---ending with the latest vote by the Clark County Council to flip-flop and bring the FBI back to Camp Bonneville against clear, widespread opposition by the residents they're there to serve. This will set you up for Part 5, where we will review extensive reporting on the FBI's recent actions re: collaboration with ICE and more.
