This week Jo saw and quite enjoyed Star Trek beyond whilst Samuel raged against the grammatical errors of the BFG. They also revisited the classic sports and coming of age doc Hoop Dreams, available of Netflix and highly recommended.

There isn't a ringing endorsement of the most recent cinema releases as Jo is underwhelmed by the most recent attempt at rebooting The Legend of Tarzan and Samuel is frankly mortified by the film the Telegraph are calling "The most offensive film ever", The Neon Demon. But fear not we've got two oldies to recommend, hidden gem and Brendan Gleeson masterclass The Guard and modern classic and possibly the definitive (controversial I know) gangster movie, Goodfellas.

Special guest Nathan Goggin joins the gang for the episode that Jo went to see the meeting of two American titans Elvis & Nixon, whilst Samuel went to see if his childhood fave Independence Day can produce a decent sequel. Nathan brings along Deadpool which could prove most well received Comic Book Movie of the year and finally the sequel show is rounded up by a discussion of why 21/22 Jump St works so well.

After badmouthing the upcoming release of Mother's Day last episode Samuel decides to put his money where his mouth is and see the damn thing, whilst Jo watches what may be the last Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There. Things get yeasty when the boys debate the surface tension of Good Will Hunting and come to truly appreciate The Greatest in Oscar winning Rumble in the Jungle documentary When We Were Kings.

Jo and Samuel keep it eclectic mixing the  euphoric Irish coming of age story Sing Street with yet ANOTHER comic book outing X Men: Apocalypse. Ryan Reynolds and Kristen Stewart give a possible career best performance in hidden gem Adventureland and Samuel attempts to defend Scary Movie in Marmite Movies.

Always keeping their listeners on an emotional rollercoaster Jo and Samuel flit between Richard Linklater's most recent outing Everybody Wants Some, and their other new release the Turkish tale of repressed freedom Mustang. The Man in the Moon is a film you'll almost certainly never heard of but is Reese Witherspoon's big screen debut and is a genuinely well hidden gem. Finally to top it all off the boys delve deep into the very nature of life, death and the wilderness with a look at Werner Herzog's documentaries Grizzly Man and Into the Abyss.

Jo and Samuel keep it diverse as ever for you listeners with their new releases; Captain America: Civil War and uh... Son of Saul. In the special back to back "Alien Day" screening on Tuesday everyone could hear Jo scream as the boys weigh up Alien with its sequel Aliens. Finally things get yeasty as Crazy, Stupid, Love is up for debate in Marmite Movies.

No guest this week, so you'll be getting cosy with just Jo and Samuel, like they did when they saw bizarre Belgian flick The Brand New Testament, Jo also touches on feel good family fun film Eddie the Eagle. Woody Allen's career goes on the line when Annie Hall is put under the Everyone's a Critic "Classic" examination and finally Jo chooses 90s Warren Beatty project Bulworth, featuring a young Halle Barre.  Don't miss out.

Everyone's a Critic has its biggest blockbuster yet with Batman V Superman and carries on the Dylan Kidd interest with a review of the release delayed Get a Job. Special guest Joe "Nipso" Nichols brings Joel Edgerton's directorial debut The Gift and things get heated when Samuel and Jo get stuck in over Twilight: Eclipse in Marmite Movies.

The boys invite a guest into their studio for the first time, in the shape of young Kyle Ross. Jo tries to get to grips with High Rise whilst Samuel views 10 Cloverfield Lane. A young Jesse Eisenberg costars in the 2002 Hidden Gem Rodger Dodger. Kyle brings along action (comedy?) romp The Guest to mull over. Much fun to be had all round.
