Because I can't put my head in the sand
It is no longer a viable option to remain uninformed. But who you choose to listen to can either challenge or reinforce a perspective. What Jer and Osheta present offers me ways to learn and put feet to what I would like to ignore but know I only do so to my own detriment. Thankful for their wisdom born from boots-on-the-ground living.

Rich conversations
Thank you so much for making the Restoring Friendship into podcast episodes! It made it much more accessible, and the conversations were so rich! I’d love if you could do that with all the webinars. Thanks for all you do to help in our formation as peacemakers!

So grateful for this podcast
It’s so hopeful and encouraging to learn about how everyday people are loving others and living out Jesus’ Way of peace. Thank you for sharing their stories and for all your work.

“What even is everyday peacemaking?” - me, before learning about Global Immersion
My feelings toward Christians often oscillate between hope and cynicism, but these stories move me closer to the former. Hearing examples of individuals disrupting their lives to pursue a greater peace is inspiring and provokes both thought and action in my own community. I’m excited to hear more of how these everyday peacemakers invoke the name of Jesus to stand up for others, rather than sticking to the status quo.

I am grateful this podcast is coming out in fall of 2020. I think the team hosting format is fun, and the guests are just normal people like you and me trying to follow the Jesus way in a world full of conflict. Grateful for the Global Immersion team for putting this together! Everything they are producing is high quality, good for the soul and challenging us in all the right ways.

Exactly what we need in these divided times
Peacemaking can often feel inaccessible or unrealistic. But this podcast is an incredible reminder that everyone can be a peacemaking in their everyday lives. A fun and interesting podcast that's super relevant to the unrest we're all feeling. Also love that the episodes (at least this first one) is only 30 minutes long. Keep it up guys!

A safe space to ruminate hard conversations
This is a really great podcast that explores the actions of people who create safety and peace within their communities in ways that affect positive change. I love hearing the stories of each guest and the journey and struggles that have shaped them and brought them to where they are now.

A welcomed guide to weary Jesus followers
We live in a divided world. Unmet expectations and noise. As a Jesus follower since my youth, I’ve gotten tired of placating Jesus and playing church. But where do I go from here? I love Jesus, but sometimes I’m not sure how to live out the Jesus way. Global immersion has played a significant role in shaping my theology and practice in the 21st century. This podcast is a guide for anyone who is seeking a new way to be a Jesus follower.
