Listeners, I am excited to share with you, Trevor Steinhauser, who helps others as an aid and resource to addicts and their respective families. His own experience with addiction, helping others through their addictions, led to the creation of his own podcast, #stigmatized that is centered around bringing awareness to mental health with raw accounts from his guests. These mental issues that were never quite pinpointed for Trevor, despite counseling, led to self-medicating with drugs and alcohol. Through relapse, mental health issues, and physical deterioration, Trevor launched his recovery when he finally comprehended the simplified explanation that this addict life did not work for him while examining his roots and pre-dispositions. Trevor developed the skills to navigate a different path and found himself finally pursuing a career that allowed him to get his personality out into the world and help others!
