When Megan and Ryan married, their passions did as well. Megan’s background in blood transfusion medicine mixed with Ryan’s farming and finance background were the perfect mix for the creation of their company, Fresh to Morrow. After years in a demanding corporate career, Ryan realized that he didn’t want to spend his life working in spreadsheets solely for money. Rather, he had found an interest that went back to his roots in farming and growing produce. Before they knew it, what began with Ryan and Megan creating a community garden in Mount Washington turned into a move to Morrow, Ohio and the creation of Fresh to Morrow!
Fresh to Morrow not only serves as a reliable organically sourced produce company, but offers so many jobs to workers so that they can sustain their families. Fresh to Morrow is truly a pillar in the community.

One of four siblings, Ashley grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and out of high school attended cosmetology school. When her high school sweetheart’s professional basketball career took her overseas she put her career on the back burner. With her two kids and husband, she traveled back and forth for fourteen years between the states and amazing oversees locations like Israel, Germany, and Japan making a career very difficult to nurture. That was until they made the decision to move back to the states part time to benefit the kid’s learning styles.
Ashley was able to begin her fitness journey as the kids got slightly older and used going to the gym as an escape to set some time aside from herself. While she got involved in cardio, she found that lifting was her real interest. This led to macro counting and further snowballed from there into a passion for anything health related. During the pandemic, Ashley was able to delve into personal training and nutrition coaching, ultimately resulting in the creation of Ashley Duncan Training.

I am so excited to release this new episode with Colene Elridge!! Colene attributes her very different outlook on life to being raised by a single mom after the death of her father to suicide. This loss at a very young age made her see the world in a very different light and prompted her journey to help others not feel alone.
In coming to terms with the death of her father, Colene developed a sense of empathy that all of us have something, all of us are working through something, and all of us just want to be seen and supported. She found herself doing the work to help others before she knew what that work even was. The leadership class Colene led when working at the State Government was ultimately her turning point to realize she was equipped with the skill set to be a corporate trainer and business coach!

I am so excited to introduce you baddies, to two guests, Drew and Britney Frietch!! The two having met when they were very young did life backwards- having kids first, then graduating school, then starting careers. They now run the Britney Frietch real estate team side by side. However, for a decade Britney stayed home with the kids and Drew was in construction management. This beautiful metamorphosis into real estate for the two sprouted from their unintentional flipping of houses every few years. It turned into a full time career when Britney decided to pursue her real estate license and then began partnering with REMAX to sell independently. This real estate journey began booming for Britney so the two made the executive decision to go all in despite it coming with risks.
It is so clear there is so much greatness to come for this couple in real estate and in life!

As the president and CEO of Easterseals, a non-profit service for people with disabilities and the aging community, Pam Green oozes energy and goodwill through everything she touches. Having been adopted and experiencing the divorce of her parents at a young age, Pam saw firsthand the common effects of divorce resulting in poverty for women. This translated directly to her future career path. She attended Transylvania University in Kentucky and was really able to start anew as her own person majoring in English and women’s studies. Taking her first career opportunity at Kelly Staffing services, she made a bountiful career out of it and lived in the Midwest, Austin, Detroit, and Raleigh.
After moving to Cincinnati and experiencing the riots over Timothy Thomas’s shooting and then the devastating effects of 9/11, Pam felt the call to a different line of work. This resulted in her career with non-profits and eventually her own leader role at easterseals.

I am so excited to be back for Season 2, and introduce you to a highschool friend Erica Klein. As a previous political science major, master student in early secondary education, an employee at Fifth Third Bank, and now currently an esthetician and mom of two, Erica has had a career path one would not consider linear! Raised in Cincinnati and then finishing her college career at UC, Erica caught the creative bug while working as a receptionist at Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa, resulting in her current career in esthetics.
Erica describes a very exhausting peaks-and-valley cycle throughout her past years. While she would flame out in life, she would bounce back with an extraordinary accomplishment like that of her Camino a Santiago journey. This unhealthy cycle ended when Erica eliminated alcohol from her life, to which respect she has been two years sober!

I am so excited to introduce you to our guest speaker, Corey Nevels. At the age of just 25, Corey is traveling around the world as a marine scientist, dive master, and underwater photographer. Many wonder how a girl who grew up in a land locked state, ended up with a career in the middle of the ocean. The answer is, while at Ohio University, Corey chose to take an open water scuba diving class with little experience regarding the ocean. Little did she know this class would become her life’s passion. One of the most inspiring aspects to Corey’s story is her ability to trust her gut passion for a career that veered from the norm.

Listeners, I can't wait to introduce you to our guest speaker, Joe Clark. Joe has his own podcast, authenticconviction, created five businesses, runs a nationally competitive baseball organization, and played collegiate baseball. He is additionally a husband, dad of three, & currently the President & C.E.O. of Integrated Financial Network, a financial planning firm! Born in Kokomo, Indiana, Joe experienced a life-shaping moment at age seven when his father unexpectedly passed away at the age of thirty-six. From that point on, he was blessed with a supportive step-father and the opportunity to pursue his collegiate dream of baseball at Miami University. Throughout all of these experiences, Joe has realized that his motivation no longer stems from having valuable tangible items, but rather the most liberating thing he sits with today is that he knows who he is. Joe’s career comes full circle as a financial planner because he is fulfilled by the ability to best prep families for uncertainties in the future, just as he experienced at a young age.

Listeners, I am so excited to be back from our short break, and share our guest speaker, Tempal Hitt, founder and creator of Grace Green Beauty, with all of you! Having grown up in a salon & spa, the daughter of two licensed cosmetologists, and the sister of a cosmetologist, Tempal was always surrounded by beauty. In unison, Tempal has always had a love for all things earthy and is at one with nature. Therefore, these two aspects of her life were married when she attended the Aveda school at Fredericks Institute in Cincinnati where she was introduced to holistic wellness. For the first time she felt her go, go, go attitude excelled her here. While she had a wonderful career as a Hair Stylist, everything evolved when she founded Grace Green Beauty, spurred from a quest to cure the sensitives her son experienced that manifested through his skin. Tempal has now built her life around Grace Green Beauty that is sustained by her own farm, Grace Grounds.
Grace Green Beauty has evolved into more than just a product, but a way of living and a state of being by showing grace to those around us and the planet!

Listeners, I am so excited to introduce all of you to Lindsey Ross and Lauren Bailey, co-founders of Thrive Empowerment! Thrive Empowerment offers trauma informed female led personal safety. Empowerment self-defense is different than any self-defense because it tries to meet people along the entire spectrum of violence. This includes violence prevention, understanding the resources and tools you have like your voice and body, as well as interruption defense, and the healing component. As both friends and business owners, the path to create Thrive Empowerment was spurred from both women’s experience with domestic violence and mentally abusive relationships. This is a story of helping others realize that who you are and how you are raised has nothing to do with whether you can find yourself in an abusive relationship. It is about the right way to heal from an abusive relationship, and in the case of Lindsey and Lauren that healing was found through martial arts, self-defense, and finally Thrive Empowerment.
