EP 07 | God's Beautiful Plan - Judy Smith
We can't believe we're already here! Today is the final episode of our first season. We are working on episodes for season two, so watch out for those in the coming months. We are more than grateful for the amazing feedback and prayers we've received over these first few episodes. We can't wait to bring you more!Divorce is one of the most difficult life changes to navigate. Divorce over 60 presents an entirely unique set of challenges. This episode deals with a growing demographic in the church family – men and women over 60 who are newly single. Judy’s story is an inspirational example about how we view the barriers blocking our path. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of perspective. Sometimes, those barriers aren’t really barriers at all. Our mission with Everstory is to seek out and celebrate everyone’s story. No story is too big, no story is too small. Please feel free to reach out and share your story. We'd love to listen!Find us on Facebook or Instagram to learn more! Want to share your story? EP 06 | Living the Abundant Life - Tom Magoffin
Today Tom Magoffin sits in the studio to talk about life ... 80 years of life! This episode is compelling because we’re not digging into a single testimony together. This isn’t the single story of someone's health scare, job loss, or divorce. This talk reminded me of the old Viewmaster toys. If you remember, these were stereoscopic viewing devices that looked like little binoculars. When you viewed the slide images through the viewfinder, you saw pictures of places you thought you’d never go and things you thought you’d never see … but with amazing clarity and depth. The images themselves were quite small, but when viewed in stereo, they were magnificent! This is Tom’s story. Slide after slide of the lessons he learned committing and staying committed to his faith. Our mission with Everstory is to seek out and celebrate everyone’s story. No story is too big, no story is too small. Please feel free to reach out and share your story. We'd love to listen! Find us on Facebook or Instagram to learn more! Want to share your story? EP 05 | Alone but Never Lonely - Ashley West
Today, we’re shaking things up a bit. Tom Magoffin’s story about maintaining his faith over an inspiring, 80 year life will drop next Monday. This week, we’re airing the first episode in a bonus series that we’re calling: “come as you are.” In these episodes, we’ll be talking to believers around Fort Worth about stories that often slide under the radar. They’re the stories that might not seem huge but affect us all in very real ways. We all wear those stories in our hearts and on our shoulders and likely never think to share. Our mission with Everstory is to seek out and celebrate everyone’s story. No story is too big, no story is too small. So, today, our great friend Ashley West agreed to drop by and talk about her intentional decision to maintain her singleness, despite what she feels is a persistent cultural pressure to marry. EP 04 | No Perfect People Allowed - Marisol Martin
Marisol Martin shares her fascinating journey about being a young woman, trapped in the rigidity and unattainable perfection of the Catholic church – struggling to find a personal, forgiving relationship with Jesus. After experiencing a visceral connection during worship at a large non-denominational church, Marisol began clashing with her family over the prospects of leaving the Catholic faith. Eventually, Marisol discovers a small, family-sized Christian church that preached a new, even more perfectionist brand of theology. What happens next is both ironically shocking and infinitely inspirational.Find us on Facebook or Instagram to learn more! Want to share your story? Send us an email to [email protected]

EP 03 | Links in the Chain - Bryan Smith
Bryan Smith is leading the creation of a new congregation in Alliance, Texas. In this fascinating conversation, I learned about how a young, unambitious college freshman who knew about God found a spark and launched himself into a relationship with God. When his life seemed plagued with loneliness, a chance encounter with a young believer drastically changed his perspective about faith and what it means to be a true worker in the fields. You won't want to miss this episode! EP 01 | Beloved - The Molly Jane Story, Part I
Welcome to the very first episode of Everstory – the podcast that features real stories about how everyday people experience the transformational light and love of Jesus  despite struggling in their darkest moments. As a bonus to our new listeners, this is a two part episode, and both episodes are available … right now. A powerful example of resilience and strength, Tracy is a mother who, in 2017, endured the unspeakable loss of her daughter. Despite living through the darkest moments imaginable, she began experiencing Jesus’ unquestionable love. After a string of inspirational moments, she began a campaign of healing to honor her daughter’s memory. By the end of this story, you will be truly blessed to see how God can turn our worst fears into a mobilization for good.Find us on Facebook or Instagram to learn more! Want to share your story? EP 02 | Beloved - The Molly Jane Story, Part 2
In this episode of Everstory, Tracy describes how God began inspiring her to mobilize her experience and boundless energy to help lessen the trauma shared by other victims of sexual assault.   Along the way, Tracy has been empowered by Jesus to spread an undeniable light over victims of assault and abuse. This story is about a lot of things, but at its core, it’s a story about how God uses us in times of crisis. Some of us are called to do a little. But others are called to bear the load. In her mission to ensure that all victims are heard, believed, and beloved, Tracy has accepted an extraordinary destiny.  To learn more or donate, visit projectbeloved.org

Introducing: Everstory
Doxology Bible Church is proud to present … EverStory, launching wherever you listen to podcasts on June 6th, 2022. Everstory is a weekly, seasonal podcast featuring Christ-centered stories of hope and transformation – told by people just like you. No chit-chat. Just raw, powerful stories. Stories inspire us to connect with each other in real, tangible ways. With stories, we’re better able to glorify a God who relentlessly pursues us. Mark 16:15 tells us to “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole of creation.”  Stories embody who we are as Christians. Without them, Paul’s letters would have never been shared. Without stories, a person with Christ in their heart might never find the courage to bring the Word to their neighbor. Without stories, the Great Commission never occurs. Check-in with us often as we introduce stories about the way Jesus’ radical love is moving in truly awesome ways. Find Everstory wherever you listen to podcasts. Also, follow Doxology Bible Church on Facebook or Instagram, @doxologybible. Want to share your story or know someone who might? Send us an email to [email protected].
