With the parable of the great supper, Jesus proclaims the importance of inviting people - of all kinds - to enjoy His Kingdom. This kind of hospitality surely includes inviting everyone we meet to be our guests at Kingdom events that we enjoy; especially the unchurched.

While one person can make a big difference in the world, two can do so much better; because of improved vision, teamwork, synergy, multiplication and the joy of shared results. Building on what was shared last Lord's Day, in the sermon called ONE, this one - entitled TWO - goes on to communicate the importance of being teamplayers and the need to avoid isolating ourselves.

The value of "One" is explored and declared in this sermon about the importance of reaching out to minister to one specific person in need of salvation and restoration.

In preparation for The Alpha Course this sermon encourages the hearers to be more relational with unbelievers in their lifestyles. Because listening to people can make them more willing to hear us and because many will not care about how much we know until they know how much we care, it is imperative that we learn how to identify with unbelievers for effective evangelistic ministry.

From the words of Jesus when He commissioned his disciples to "be wise" as they go out to minister "in the midst of wolves", Pastor Alan strongly challenges Generations Church to be wise in evangelism, in being both relational and conversational, as well as not being unscriptural nor unreasonable.

Evangelism Jesus' style is not as hard as some people can make it. He said we are the light of the world that cannot be hidden. After a humorous look at what Jesus did not mean, the hearer learns of the joyous way we are to shine the light of God's love everywhere and to use words if necessary.
