How to offer on a property to show the agent you aren’t messing around! A well presented offer has a higher chance of being accepted if the agent and seller can see you’re serious and less likely to ‘flake out’ down the line. The 7 things to included in your offer email are the following..... 1. The amount (obviously) 2. The reason for the amount (if it’s under the asking price; why?) 3. Your position (are you in a chain? Are you not?) 4. Your timeline (which exact date would you ideally like the keys on?) 5. Your solicitors details (chose them before offering) 6. Proof of funds (your mortgage in principle & screenshot of deposit) 7. Passport copy (for the legal anti money laundering checks that the agent does).
