a.m. Core 52: ProphecyPsalm 2What is the Bible about? If you were to introduce it to someone, what would you say? If you are recommending a book to someone for them to read, they are going to ask. What would you tell them? There really is one overarching theme or topic. Some might say that the Bible is all about you. Unfortunately, that is not true. The Bible is however written to you. You are the intended reader. The ultimate author, the one who inspired the words that are contained in this book wrote it for you! Again, if you are trying to convince someone to read the book you can honestly tell them that the book was written for them! What other book can you say that about? What other author deeply knows every one of their readers? What other author actually formed each and every reader inside of their mother’s wombs? I know, it is that personal of a relationship! Back to the original question, what is the Bible about? Jesus. It is God’s story of how He created and redeemed mankind through Jesus. This week we will take a look at a passage from Psalms that points the way to Jesus.
