Humility, submission, surrender, and other similar words are not easy or desirable traits in today's world as we are very sensitive to the injustices around us. First Peter Chapter 2 and 3 deal with uncomfortable topics when considered within today's culture.

How can we understand and relate to these topics in a balanced, supportive, and just way? Through prayer and study there can be beauty and level of equality and justice discovered in these verses.
