In this episode we talk with Artist, Enneagram type 4, and yoga teacher, Katherine Hanks, about how Enneagram types 3, 4, 5 and 6 can become the truest version of themselves. Katherine Hanks is an interdisciplinary artist based in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. Her work is a part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History archives and has been featured in Where Women Create and City Scope Magazine. Katherine’s earliest memories were set against a limestone canyon along the emerald green Frio River in the Texas hill country. This closeness to wilderness awakened in her a hunger for the sacred and the drive to create. From 2014–2019, Katherine ran Annie Hanks, a collaborative ceramics studio in Chattanooga, TN. The studio was integral to the community and small business landscape of the town and produced work for clients nationwide. Katherine’s currently focusing on a new body of work inspired by her identity as mother, her intimate connection to land and the body, and her experience navigating sacred mystery.
