In this episode, Kat and Christy interview Susan R, Latta LMFT, FT, who is a Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a Fellow in Thanatology (the study of death and dying). Susan is an Enneagram 2 and during this interview we talk to Susan about ways that each of the 9 types deal with grief. As we look at how each of the 9 types grieve, we are not just looking at grief as exclusively death. We can grieve in a plethora of ways, such as in the midst of a move, divorce or job loss. Susan has worked in several private practices, a psychiatric hospital and most recently spent 19 years as the Director of Grief services with a local hospice in Chattanooga. She brings a wealth of knowledge in the world of death and dying and has a passion for teaching as well as working with individuals and groups that have had a significant death in their life. Susan is from California where most of her family continues to reside and loves to visit family and the Pacific Ocean when she is able to do so. Susan has a private practice in Chattanooga.
