As an 8w9, I was really disappointed how 2-dimensional the commentary is. The episode on Enneagram 8 just focuses on stereotypes. Many 8’s are abuse survivors and have to be selective in what they feel safe sharing with others, not because they’re trying to dominate others. It’s survival mode, often learned in early childhood. And yes, we’re forced to “show up” as other people want us to. I don’t appreciate you guys proliferating the misunderstanding. Please consider why people are forced to adopt certain traits.

Love this podcast and I hope you make more episodes! At times it seems like you have favorite types, which can make it hard to send to friends — I’d send this podcast to a Type 2 in a heartbeat but wouldn’t for a 6 or 8 because I think it would hurt their feelings. Just something to keep in mind; otherwise, I found this podcast both insightful and entertaining!!

I love this podcast. I am new to the Enneagram, so I appreciate hearing the basics on each topic and then diving into Lee and Caryn's experiences. They are deeply knowledgeable, passionate, and understanding, so their conversations are natural and fun, yet packed with insight and positivity. I look forward to the interviews, and I hope to learn more about how what is important to each type of person, as far as how others interact with them.

Lee and Caryn share enneagram concepts in an accessible way with inclusive and careful language. I do not know my enneagram type and haven’t been motivated to learn more, until I started listening to this podcast. Great voices and valuable information discussed.

A good friend got me interested in the Enneagram a little while ago. Trying to dig into this study of personality types can get very in-depth and longwinded (TLDR). But Lee and Caryn are doing a great job breaking this information down in an easy to digest, conversational, and fun podcast. I already understand the basics of this so much better than I did before and it's just 3 episodes in. Can't wait to hear what is next!

This is the best enneagram podcast that I’ve found yet. My partner is really into the enneagram and I had difficulty making sense of it. Lee and Caryn are conversational and hint at the big ideas before letting them roll out naturally. After only a few episodes, I have a firmer grasp than I have had listening to the others I’ve tried.
