What a ride it’s been...
With book 2 drawing to a close, I figured it was past time to give my official review of this podcast. I discovered it when I followed Rach on twitter last summer, and thought to myself, “I’m already this deeply invested in a show I’ve loved since I was 8 years old, might as well immerse myself in it even more.” Rather foolishly I must admit, I thought I couldn’t love ATLA more, but this podcast has increased my appreciation for the show tenfold. The excitement and anticipation of hearing the thoughts of a first-time watcher and a seasoned fandom veteran covering each episode week by week has been nothing short of a delight. This podcast is, simply put, just a great time. Segments like Sokka’s Poetry Society enrich the listening experience that much more, giving both Rach and Rebecca the perfect opportunity to showcase their respective talents for writing and exploring the stories and characters in a uniquely creative way. Book 3 is just on the horizon and I am so looking forward to hearing both Rach and Rebecca’s thoughts on the most climactic season yet and the inevitable end of the series. Stay flamin’, friends!

I love this podcast so much! Rach and Rebecca do a fantastic job recapping each episode but also providing insight to the characters and plots of the show. I've listened to a lot of avatar podcasts that don't know everything and get things wrong and as a avatar fan myself it's frustrating when I know more than the hosts. I never have to worry about this with ember island sayers. They do their research and really take the time to look into themes of the show.
I also love the perspective of having a dedicated fan and a first timer watching the show together. The fun segments they do like iroh's flip flop and sokka's poetry society really make this podcast unique from the rest and always make me laugh.
You can tell they really care about the show and making the podcast enjoyable for everyone. Also the aang appreciation is abundant! There can never be too much aang love. Please listen to this podcast you won't regret it! Finally, stay flamin'!!

From Another Rach
This is absolutely one of my favorite podcasts and I look forward to each episode weekly. Avatar was my favorite childhood show and since it’s resurgence on Netflix I was looking for a podcast to dive deeper into the episodes and Ember Island Sayers definitely does that.
Season 1 of this podcast had a great blend of light hearted fun and information. I can’t wait for Rebecca and Rach to go over book 2 and 3 with all the new characters and backstory. They made going over season 1 so fun to listen to so I can only imagine it will get better with all the juicier episodes to come.
Also it’s just great this podcast gives Aang appreciation. Even though he is the main character I find not many people delve into how interesting and complex he is so listening to Rach care so much warms my heart.
